  1. Wes Brown is the most relatable ex-player there is. He was a proper hard man on the pitch and just talks like a bloke down the pub now, with a proper manc accent.

  2. These boys could be 7 out of 10s consistently season after season, today we have players that are 9 out of 10 one game in 5 that's why we're never challenging

  3. Every man and his dog knew what keane was like. he wouldnt varnish his opinions. that interview is under lock and key now. it was all too convenient for fergie to bomb him out using that as an excuse. the truth is, he didnt feel he could control him anymore and for the betterment of the club, keane was bombed out. it wasnt the right thing to do morally but it was the right thing for the club. i'd love it if keane had actually dug fergie out over the rock of gibraltar. that was probably the start of the end for roy. uncomfortable truths and champagne socialists arent a good mix.

  4. He's big, he's bad, he's Wesley Brown

The hardest man, in all the town

    With orange hair, beware

Come and have a go if you dare!

  5. If you want the real insight into Di Canio just search his name and Simon Ferry, the stories are hilarious!

  6. For a guy 6ft 4 it was amazing O' Shea rarely if ever got skinned by fast tricky winger. Solid player & great pro.

  7. Veron came in so SAF could play Scholes in the number 10 role. Great shame it didn’t pay off. Loved Veron as a player and had some great performances in Europe

  8. Both got laughed at by Milan…..said why are they playing for MU….standards of the teams ….they won 3-0 hmmm i wonder?

  9. John sheas goal at anfield the season won the title for united you are a legend thanks from a united fan

  10. Both good for Sunderland. Browns injuries limited him but when he played you could see how good he was and good he could have been. JOS was proper solid until the club started unraveling

  11. It's as shame players like these 2 don't really exist at the top clubs anymore, proper battlers that were there because they were reliable to do a job and work hard.

  12. Severely underappreciated, Wes and John.
You look back on it now and they were a huge part of our success

  13. The fact they even came to Sunderland was mental O’Shea is a Sunderland Legend

  14. Brilliant. Two of my favourite United players ever. Wish they'd talk more on that early to mid 2000 period. Remember O'Shea and Giggsy playing in the midfield together sometimes. John not the quickest feet, but brilliant touch and football mind. Wes just always a warrior. But also don't get enough credit for his ability/skills.

  15. Would of been leaders and captains of other clubs but not at utd. O'Shea maybe not and always annoying but wes was a great player and should of left earlier fir his own career but i think players like this just got used to chilling at man utd thst players still keep doing now at utd. No wonder it drove keane mad

  16. Ronaldo R9 was still magical when he was at madrid , but he wasnt half the player he was before the injury, to say he was at the peak of his powers is idiotic

  17. Interesting to hear DiCanio badmouth O'Shea and O'Shea not rising to the bait. Probably was all to do with that poster campaign that Wes did @50:00
