  1. As a recent returner to golf at 56 following a 25 year absence this resonates beautifully. When I slow everything down I can still hit some decent shots, the minute I strive for distance it all goes to pot 🤣

  2. Another great set of tips! As you stated in the video, professional golfers are more flexible and have capabilities that the average person cannot hope to replicate. Trying to get more distance by swinging harder results in a disconnected golf swing, i.e., hands and body out of sync. I find myself doing this at the start of the golf season as I work out the winter kinks. I usually get a few golf lessons before I get my swing too messed up and this helps refocus my practice sessions. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Every time I am paired with a female golfer I am always jealous of the pace of their swing, seniors are the same. Steady and down the middle.

  4. Body rotation as you describe it is what I am working on this year.
Im slowly getting at better ball striking and dang, it certainly helps my scoring.
    Cheers

  5. Excellent video Andy as Always! Since this video was geared toward the senior golfer and since I am one, I found this to be quite informative! My swing is in to out and I use an upward wrist cock to promote a flat left wrist and a cocked/hinged right wrist! As I come into impact, my club squares up by my wrists uncocking and my follow through carries me around as you demonstrated. This move of course is not always accomplished by me because I sometime limit myself on my core and hip rotation. I definitely like your suggestion of posting off of the left leg as one rotates through the shot! Good Job As Always Andy! Keep Up The Good Work!!

  6. Hit it so soft and feathery that I don't take divots and if I do rarely hit the floor it takes 99% of the power/distance out … should I be trying to give it more beans or keep it feathery?

  7. OMG this even works in vr golf+ on my quest 2 with my DriVR pro attachment I feel like I'm playing real golf now. I like golf, but cant get the time to go on golf courses or the driving range. This has just made my 1 hour of me time so much more fun.

  8. Nice tip for us seniors. Any suggestions for longer clubs and driver?? Thanks!
