Fowler is from socal and was the fan favorite, but Clark is a nice story. Rory just seems to always be a bit flat in 4th rounds he has a shot at a major. I would have liked to have seem Fowler or Rory win.
I heard that the neighborhood folks bought most of the tickets to limit the crowds… I disliked the whole thing it seemed very exclusive and left out the real fans.
Isn’t Dan Patrick a member of the LACC? Therefore biased on his take about the USGA. Also, Dan failed to mention that LACC members bought up more of their fair share of the reserves, further reducing supply of tickets.
In honor of Juneteenth they should tax LACC more than $225k of what they currently pay. Just a humble thought.
Sorry but Rory should be the winner. Clark needs to give back the trophy and be disqualified from the tournament for signing an incorrect scorecard. There's clear footage of him grounding 2 clubs Ball moving should have been a penalty stroke how is this not being talked about.

I don’t understand why the USGA was so determined to play at LACC.

I thought the competition was one for the ages!
Nobody in LA cares about LACC except the snooty, elitist members. That’s why the Open was so dull.
If they want to they could have made LACC very difficult in which the winning score was a positive number.
Yes, Congratulations Clark 🎺
and Thank you Rory for speaking up on behalf of the players through this storm 😊
It's too bad PGA Championship is no longer in August because LACC would be a killer test. Heat, no rain or Marine Layer.
The crowd size thing was kinda weird but i have to say i didnt miss the idiots yelling after shots
Rory can't sink putts longer than 6 feet on Sunday. Until that changes, he's not going to win another major.
As talented as Fowler is, Clark has more upside future potential…..longer and stronger

How much energy do you spend on spreading hate and untruths? It’s gross.
They've been limiting the tickets sales for decades. LACC was certainly not the first. Uninformed players were the folks complaining.
My fantasy team was Rory, Rickie and Scottie. How'd I do?
I can't recall another final round of a major where I saw so few birdie putts made by those in contention. It was a par parade all day long.
The US Open appeared to dead, very little crowd noisy. Compare that to the Canadian Open last week to the ruckus crowd.
Just think, that golf course in worth $8 Billion in land value.

Would have loved to hear why they limited the crowds
Win-d'em "Majors" Clark
You can tell this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about because he said no one hits it further than Rory.
Bro, literally the guy who won the US Open the person you’re talking about? Yeah. That guy? He hits it further.
