MIAMI OPEN FINAL WAS BORING!

Daniil Medvedev won the Miami Open against Jannik Sinner in another boring final, and that is why I love women’s tennis, because their final was anything but boring. Huge congratulations to Petra Kvitova, huge props to Elena Rybakina for an amazing run, these ladies deserve so much praise and admiration!
Also I wonder who will dominate the clay court swing? Will it be someone like Carlos Alcaraz, will it be Stefanos Tsitsipas, Holger Rune or will the good, old Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic dominate as they usually do. On the women’s side I am not even sure that I should predict anything. Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Aryna Sabalenka or maybe a dark horse like Barbora Krejcikova or Ons Jabeur will do some big things during the clay court swing!

  1. I heavily disagree. Atp displays much higher level of tennis(shouldn't even be arguable)

Only things wta has going for it is drama and obviously for horny men seeing fit women in revealing sweaty attire .

  2. Medvedev to sweep Monte Carlo, Madrid, Rome, and the French open whilst beating nadal in the final, establishing himself as world number one and the goat of clay

  3. Prediction: Medvedev makes the final of a Master's 1000 on clay. Nadal loses before the quarterfinals at RG. Alcaraz wins RG.

  4. Sad to see Sinner loss again in final. When he won against Alcaraz I think he will won the final easily because Meddy don't play that good last matches but in the final he play at his best and I love to see him won another big title. Now clay season is coming so Meddy is going to sleep 😴.

  5. Monte Carlo: Alcaraz
    Barcelona: Alcaraz
    Madrid: Djokovic
    Rome: Djokovic
    Roland Garros: Nadal

Alcaraz is gonna peak too early, Djokovic when finally in optimal clay form wins 2 masters.. but at Roland Garros their can be only one king..

  6. A player outside of top 10 wins Monte Carlo, Tsitipas wins Madrid, Sinner wins Rome defeating Djoko on the way, Alcaraz wins Rolland Garros, defeating Nadal, pass of the torch moment.

  7. For me, Clay represent what I like in tennis:run, sweat, fight. It is also interesting because it is harder to win the games on the serve, so turnarounds on clay happen very often.
I hope that Domi can reproduce some of his past form(I don't expect , but I hope). I want to see during this season at least once Djokovic – Alcaraz, and let's hope someone who is not called Rafael Nadal will win RG.
On the women side, I think Iga Swiatek will remind us of what she is capable. She played good this year, but not as well as in 2022. Paris is her best opportunity, and it can be magical if she wins it again.
Predections:women is too hard, so I'm going only for ATP:
    Sinner/Ruud Monte Carlo
    Alcaraz/Djokovic Madrid
    Rome Djokovic/Nadal.
    RG Nadal(hope I am wrong)

  8. Yeah, Jannik has officially become Meddy's pigeon now, tho I'm happy to see this dominating Daniil back on the tour.

I'm not terribly excited for the clay swing, but I think it's obvious that the Clay Masters titles are ripe for the picking for the NextGen players. And 250s for Ruud.

Novak and Rafa have transcended that level and couldn't care less about those titles anymore. For them, the French Open is the only thing that matters now.

Nadal is an obvious choice, but this year really does seem to be it, as far as his health goes. It's not yet clear whether Alcaraz is actually as good on clay as on HC. Except for Madrid, which is most similar to HC conditions, he hasn't yet won a big clay tournament.

Tsitsipas, ugh God I hope not. Sinner, I don't think will do much. Ruud will be back to his vulturing ways, but remains to be seen.

My personal preference is a Rune breakthrough, but of course that's what I WANT to see, not what I believe will necessarily happen.

So, I'll go with Novak who should be well rested after a break of more than one month. He would only need to outlast the young guns, which he can and we have seen him do.

  9. Not excited for clay obviously, being a Med fan. Just skip to RG then grass
    MC: Alcaraz
Madrid: Djokovic(That's the one I expect Medvedev to perform the best)
Rome: Tsitsipas(by then I expect him to find his form)
Roland Garros: Alcaraz beats Djokovic Nadal and Tsitsipas back to back , all 5 setters to win the title. Medvedev makes the semifinals because he feels like it😂
Bold prediction is Ruud does NOT win a 250.

  10. I want some upsets on clay. I want Medvedev to surprise and actually take a title on clay only after he's been properly brutalized. I want Tsitsipas to get taken to bitch school @ Monte Carlo and drift off into oblivion. Alcarez taking Madrid wouldn't be an upset but would be nice. Sinner cleaning house in Rome would be ideal, too. I want Ruud losing any and all 250s he plays. Tommy Paul winning Houston, Griekspoor taking Marrakech, and a Fokina + Shelton final in Estoril would be hot. I just want exciting matches. and dude, Medvedev had a lame draw in Miami, including a walkover. that doesn't discount his performance, nor does he control the draws—and yes, he won; and yes, he clearly played better in the final; and yes, Sinner looked worse for wear (it happens…happened w/ Medvedev himself @ awful Indian Wells final). BUT! here is a Masters 1000 tournament where we have the eventual champion only playing 1 player in the top 50 (not including final)…what the hell is that? luck, I guess. doesn't make me too excited for him, honestly. and I'd like to be excited because I admire Medvedev. and I hope he keeps up his success. it just would have been nice to see him being challenged a bit more in Miami, and slipping through the cracks less. an otherwise forgettable run for him there, despite the trophy. Sinner had a great run, and showed improvement. him and Alcaraz stood out.

  11. Prediction: Ruud loses in R2 of every tournament he enters except Rg, where he’ll lose in R1.

  12. My clay season prediction: I personally believe Stefanos Tsitsipas (praise be upon him), the greatest tennis player to ever exist, will win all of the clay court tournaments, including Roland Garros. There's simply no way for him to lose! He's simply so much better than every other player in every way, especially the content of his character. What an incredible player, and incredible man!

  13. I felt like Jannik should have come to the net and changed it up more and I'm disappointed that he didn't.

1:47 Medvedev did have an easy week in Miami though, so it makes sense that he wasn't that tired and I believe Jannik said he was sick not tired.

  14. I'm quite excited for clay season, not that I care about it more than other surfaces, but more top players are going to be gunning for points. Tsitsipas does have quite an exciting game on clay, Novak and Rafa return, hopefully Zverev picks back up, Thiem… maybe, I still haven't lost faith (him beating Ruud in the final of a 250 would weirdly be very exciting XD) and hopefully more Sinner v Alcaraz matches. RG is looking to be more competitive than we've ever seen it be in the recent past, so the build up and eventual tournament might be the most exciting time of this season.

  15. The reason Sinner lost to Medvedev and not to Alcaraz is because Alcaraz gives relatively high tossed balls which is in Sinner's hitting arc. But Medvedev hits relatively lower balls, so Sinner has to bend a lot more to reach those balls in a rally, so it's harder to hit a winner.
Also Alcaraz likes to have time on the ball when hitting winners, Sinner doesn't give time to hit at all as he hits the ball very hard, compared to Medvedev who hits the ball from far back which allows Alcaraz a lot of time on the ball.

Remember guys, tennis matches are all about matchups, Nadal also lost to players like Davydenko, Dustin Brown because his playing style suited these players.

  16. Bro you sound so soy when you cry about people who don’t like women’s tennis.. they are simply less entertaining than the men, they don’t play at the same level, it’s not as fun to watch! Its facts bro!

  17. I love your channel and you are a cool dude, but you need to stop jinxing my favorite players. Just stop with your prediction, please. I also agree with you about the WTA, it's getting more entertaining every time. What's your opinion about Ons btw, I love her but it seems she hasn't found her rhythm. Thanks!

  18. Sinner had nothing in the tank after the semi. That match would have been a great final.
