Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf YouTube channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.

We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.

Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.

Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

    I found a Cobra Radspeed 5 wood for 90$ at the PGA Tour superstore recently, and it’s now a permanent resident of my golf bag. Found a 3 wood online for the same price as well, but not sure about that one as I’m doing some testing on 3 woods. Still can’t complain though.

    That was a smoking deal on those cobras!!! Now I feel I need to look for a snickers bar in the pantry!! Also you made me hungry with your mole burrito!!! I grew up on mole at every b day and family gathering!!

    One of my friends in college, his wife used to make chicken mole for his lunch! He had a thermos for his mole, and he would wrap up his tortillas in aluminium foil and leave it on his dashboard… so they would still be hot at lunch! Everyone wanted some…so we all chipped in $5 ( it was the mid 1970's…I could fill up my truck with gasoline for $5!! )…and she would put the mole in a gallon thermos….and a dozen or more tortillas for the 5 of us!
    After stuffing myself, I headed out to the golf course, as golf was a P.E. course that counted towards your graduation from the university! I took it 9 straight semesters!! Hey…I went from an 18 handicapped golfer to a 6! I took the course so many times, that sometimes, when the two Pro's were going to play in tournaments, they had me taker the class! One of the guy's that was in the class was a friend of mine from high school! That was almost 50 years ago…and we still keep in touch…in fact..my first wife used to take care of their son when he was a toddler.
    I am still hoping my lower back will get better…I would love to just go to a "Putt Putt" course and just play a round!
