Drew throws far but he could probably throw even farther if he would get rid of that chip on his shoulder. The dude gets to throw frisbees for a living, yet he is in a constant state of being pissed off.
So the minute they have to look and speculate, there is doubt: benefit goes to the player. This is ridiculous.
There should be referees not players making calls.
If cat called a warning for that disc grab out of the chains, that’s super petty. She made the putt, don’t know why she’d be angry. Especially after Allen acted all flustered and “whatever” with an attitude during their previous OB discussion she threw directly into a pond. Terrible sportsmanship imo
Players calling their own card mates errors and ob needs to be eradicated. Imagine that in any other sport. It's laughable and impossible to be unbiased.
If in doubt take the penilty. Wasting time arguing about touching inbounds. If you are out man up to it.
These people are playing for semi-serious money……..there should be an unbiased referee available for every tournament

Worst card ever to play on would be with Drew and Nikko. They want to stretch the rules and call out every one else

funny how the real winning players are willing to cut slack when it comes to close calls but the ones that talk/brag always want to call foul on every little issue
Having the card decide these kinds of things in a friendly game or local league is one thing. But in a professional tournament with actual money riding on it, there should be a neutral third party that makes these decisions. Even if most players wouldn't say a shot was OB just to cost the other guy a stroke, somebody would and that would always raise questions. Especially the first time it happens on the Lead card final round, where this decision might decide a tournament.

So much of this wouldn’t be a debate if we just played stroke and distance rules… if you go OB on your drive but can still putt for Par something just seems wrong about that.
First one was in bounds by a mile. Drew is a weenee

When I'm on a card I always give any benefit of the doubt to the player, I don't want them to be OB, even though we're competing against each other. Although, I am only MA1, so once really money becomes a part of it mentalities might change.
I dont think it should be up to the card to determine this sort of thing, there is an obvious bias and some people can def use that.
One person commented in Blue Ridge video that there should not be a painted OB around water area and water should be OB line. By having a painted line or a rope or sticks, it eliminates this type of is there water around discussion.
Anyway, in benefit of a doubt, it is player's benefit. If there was water around the rocks and in front of the disc, then it was OB. Can't see that from a video. Water level changes so having a water level as OB ,it is not the same for the whole field. Water level can change during the day.

Eagle's disc was on a dry rock above the water line. Totally in. Drew bullied the card out of it.
There should be a time limit on deliberation if we're gonna start being dicks on the shot clock.

I don't understand how the hell this sport is paying some players millions of dollars but is still relying on their peers to referee the game in these big tournaments. These guys and girls work with each other week after week and this method breeds resentment between them. Not all the time, but i'm sure it does happen.

The way it should be:
No debate. No attempts to sway other player's opinions. Each player is responsible for watching and what they saw or see.
There is a question? Each player states the call and the vote is tallied. Tie goes to the thrower.
Simple as that. Get back to play.
The bunker situation is a bad call for me. Just because the grass is growing in a direction, it doesn´t make the disc in bounds. The disc has to touch the base of the grass at least!
7:58 both shots were garbage that ended up deep OB
Eagle's shot was in-bounds. The disc in the bunker was OB. Gibson's shot probably didn't cross in bounds but the first camera angle was cut off too soon. Cat Allen was correct that her disc likely went OB in the more advanced position.
I never try to make my opponents look like fools and bash them on their decisions. Drew and Cat are something else!
