  2. Mat is right. For those who lift more with straps, you should say it. If not, then no.

  3. Same exact thing. Only true weightlifters know you don’t say with straps. It’s implied.

  4. Sorry but 100% agree. It doesn’t count if you were straps. If you can’t do it in competition, it doesn’t count. 🙃

  5. I think it's actually more important to tell people if you snatched it with your shoes tied, or in the case of some of the elites, in sandals

  7. If you can add 30kg on your snatch with straps, you need to sort out your grip….. I found straps give me a little more consistency in reps but nothing on top end 1rm

  8. I can't believe that a snatch in straps doesn't count as a pr. My best is 130kg in training "wItH StRaPs" and 125 without, straps shouldn't be a defining make or miss. Training is training, just go as heavy as fuck regardless of StRaPs or NoT.
