Early in second half, goals from Curtis Main and Alex Gogic took Saints all way to a spot on Gorgie’s side at Premiership table, dealing damage. This is how they rated it GK – ROSS STEWART 610 First start since November’s trip to Spain and first competitive start since August 21 for the third-choice goalkeeper. Considered OK? RD – MICHAEL SMITH 5 In his 200th competitive appearance at the club, he had a chance to score early in the second half. RCD – JAMES HILL 4 The loan Bournemouth defender was free with a few passes and found Curtis Main a handful. Seems very low on trust. LCD – KYE ROWLES 5 The Australian centre-back was faulty in Main’s goal, unable to handle a long ball in the striker and completely misshaped his body. LD – STEPHEN KINGSLEY 6 He passed for Halliday to hit the post, slipped on Smith for a chance, and took a free kick not far away. It almost gets a passing grade. DCM – CAMMY DEVLIN 5 Kilmarnock missed the game due concussion and needed to add some energy and urgency the midfield. It lacks quality. DCM – ANDY HALLIDAY 5 I’m back in the starting 11 after being out of the last two games. He got a head shot from the bar but didn’t offer much else. AMR – FIELD FOREST 5 Shot out from the penalty spot just before he was removed from the game. Quiet and ineffective. AMC – ROBERT SNODGRASS 4 He was suspended after just seven minutes for late fight and received a second yellow card at 62nd minute for similar challenge. AML – JORGE GRANT 5 It started on the left and finished in the middle, but it didn’t make any impact. ST – LAWRENCE SHANKLAND 6 Although captain did not have the chance to add to 22 goals he scored this season, he put a lot of effort into it. BOTTOM – BARRIE McKAY 6 76 minutes for Forrest. By the time he arrived, the game was over. ALT – STEPHEN HUMPHRYS 6 59min for Halliday. He offered something different, but it was too late. ALT – ALEX COCHRANE 5 59 minutes for Smith. The last half hour is tough in the left-back position. ALT – PETER HARING 6 76 minutes for Devlin. He appeared in difficult conditions for the first time since October. Player rating scale
