I get that this is Adam’s comeback to bouldering cups, and I appreciate that he medaled in front of his home crowd, but it’s really hard for me to understand why he got this in front of Oriane, who took down Janja to earn her first ever World Cup gold. Nothing against Adam – I love the guy and he climbed well. I just think this was Oriane’s moment.

Adam has been a legend for a long time now. I know it was his comeback, but I think Oriane or Dohyun should deserve this more for winning first ever ifsc gold in their career.
