Harden doesn't want to win. When Nurse started with, "he's an intelligent…" that tells you what he thinks. When one starts off with a different subject about another person, it's BS.
The 76ers have. Zero percent chance of winning a championship with James Harden. James Harden has absolutely no chance of winning a championship as a best player or 2nd best player on a team. If the 76ers resign Harden they are basically giving up on Embiid ever winning a championship in Philly.

I though it was interesting how nurse commented that the guys like maxey, melton, harris, etc needed to step up like the nuggets supporting cast does when their top 2 have tough games. It appears that he saw how that 76ers supporting case went 15-55 from 3 point range in games 6,7. Take out PJ tuicker who was 5-13 from 3 in games 6,7 and the rest of the supporting cast were 10-42. ANd the celtics shot 30-68 from 3 in those games, a 45 point edge. Nurse recognizes how that kills the pick and roll when the celtics decided not to stretch the defense and guard those guys. the heat destroyed that twin towers defense with good 3 point shooting from all those undrafted guys ont heir roster.
I'm Rockets fan from Houston, I like Harden and think he should return to Houston to finish his career.
The owner, GM and new coach all said they want to move out of the young player development stage and into a new phase of winning more regular seasons games and trying to get back into the playoff picture.
They want to add on star level player & a few proven vets and have a lot cap space. They're interested in bringing Harden back because he plays well in the regular season, which helps his team win more games, and he has always made the playoffs every year of his career
He loves living in Houston and should go back there to do what he does best and get celebrated for it, as opposed to staying in Philadelphia and getting the most blamed for playoff losses when it's not even his team
Embiid underperform in the playoffs a lot as well and always gets hurt, so Harden really doesn't have a great chance to win a championship in Philly. So he might as well go home and play where he'll be happier.
