During the bottom 9th in a 4-4 game, Kyle Tucker would get a 2-2 pitch called a ball. The very next pitch he would hit over the fence to deep center, for a two-run home run. Scott Servais comes out of the dugout to switch pitchers, and in his walk back gets ejected by the home plate umpire.

For me, I thought of it as a ball as well
Mariner Moose at 2:10 👀
And he's got to wear that uniform…
That was a little league no call from grandpa for his grand kid…. jesus. Make the hitters swing the bat!
Servais is a clown. He has no idea how to argue. Why did he wait so long to argue the pitch? He should be arguing about those awful uniforms his team is wearing 😂
That pitch is marginal and could go either way but Servais is the wrong man for the managerial job with behavior like this
Arguing balls and strikes is juvenile and wastes time. That's why the rule says you can't.
The fk off the field.
Borderline pitch, the K zone isnt always 100% accurate.
That would have been only the first out. Astros would have drove the run in anyhow. Scott is a clown.
I don’t know why MLB keeps using these umps when there are millions of YouTube commenters with perfect eyes and absolute repeatability. 😂
Uh…. ahit pitch deserves homerun
Seattle has to be the most overrated team ever
What? An umpire blows another pitch call? I don’t believe it!!!!….LOL
Horrible. Got revenge last night though!!
we all see it as a strike, but a lot of us behind that plate call that a ball. Right handed breaking ball good pitch but looks like a ball coming in. thats a 50/50 call very unfortunate that next pitch is the dagger for the mariners against a tough team like the astros. s/o tucker for a great at bat.
Looks to me that it was a back door slider that broke around off the plate and the catcher then pulled it over the plate. Many times we have seen where that box we see is not completely accurate. This has been brought up by many broadcasters over time. Two more things about broadcasters, they are biased and many don’t even know the rules.
Here is proof the pitch was really a ball. The umpire wasn’t Angel Hernandez.
So you see the umps are thinking about everything else such as the clock, new rules etc instead of worrying about calling balls and strikes! It is that simple! Rob Manfred is destroying the game of baseball!
I think that's a ball
Astros must be guilty of….oh, wait…..there must be some way to blame the Astros…
You can't argue balls and strike now which is a joke. At this point just go to computer calls balls and strikes
The MLB organization should introduce robots instead of ball umpires. Misdiagnosis should not affect the outcome of the match.
Mariners look like softball players in those uniforms!
Teams should determine a game, not call missing umpires…
