I love the fact that they put Gesicki with the receivers instead of with the OL/BlockingTE group. It's a sign that they intend to maximize what he does well, and to avoid asking him to do things he just can't do. This is one sign of great coaching.
Outside of learning the playbook and practice What Mac needs to do is spend the summer getting Jacked up. Strengthen his arm , core and Legs. He has the mental attitude to get it done if he tries.

Mac Jones is the worst QB in the NFL.miss me w all that. I saw whoever bailey zappe is get 2 weeks of the starter reps and playthrough and put up 30 points a game. And his only 2. Mac had 15 of those and couldn't do it he's atrocious another major wiff by bill. What else is new

I will wait until after Game 4 before making a call on Mac or the Patriots. This time of year all teams have the same record, and "hope springs eternal" on all practice fields.
People don’t understand how absolutely AWFUL Patricia was at calling the offense. 27th at 3rd down conversions and LAST PLACE in RedZone efficiency. Bill O’Brien is going to have an astronomical impact on this offense. He deserves his criticism for being a bad GM in the past…but there’s absolutely NO QUESTION that Bill is a genius on offense. Not to mention they have a Top 5 Defense on the other side of the ball; and a revamped special teams led by Joe Judge who also deserves criticism for his HC/GM work but is a specialist on S/T’s.
With what the offense has to work with…..does it really matter???
In reality..Patriots have done virtually nothing to improve player personnel on offense?? lots of 3 and outs at foxboro……

The kid is a backup at most nothing special about his game I saw way more competitiveness in Mallet than I seen in him
All of you who say Mac is spoiled or a diva, I challenge you to be in the national spotlight against the best of the best and Moe and Curley are sending you plays that are just so bad they fundamentally won't work. Now how would you react? Personally, I'm not sure any competive person could passively just take it. I'm glad he was mad and I'm glad he has no excuses this year. Go Mac go!!!
