Shaq is right. Coaches don't make you play better.
The irony is Shaq saying he doesn’t need a coach when he won his first title when Phil Jackson came to town.
I say be patient, Joe forced game 7 and I think he adapted quickly considering the circumstances. I say give him another year
Mr.Sensitive Petty bullied Shaq said u didn't/dont need coaching….that say alot that's why you was a poor free throws
Bring in experienced assistant coaches or he need to be fired in my opinion
Get Doc Rivers back
Chuck speaking facts like always
Mazzulla has psychopath eyes, the Celtics are too scared to fire him 😂
Mazzulla is wrong saying that Celtics are not reliant on three's and do not have change. I hate his attitude. I think Brad Steven's is overrating him.
Brown really disappointed all series. 2nd team All-NBA … really just for regular season with the numbers he put in playoffs.
Charles getting denture voice?
Jaylen Brown gotta be one of most supremely talent players in basketball with the lowest IQ. Im telling i counted more than 10 times where he literally drove the ball into a double team, got stuck and either turned the ball over or led to a bad shot. He really handicapped this teams potential this year with the way he played.
Mezulla delluda , dude a straight NPC
Yet Shaq only won his 4 championships with 2 of the 5 greatest coaches in NBA history. Coaching matters.
I want to be "shucksheshfull". preach Chuck
It's way too soon to fire Mazzulla. First of all, tell me the last time that changing out coaches four times in four years worked out well for a team. Multiple, rapid changes in the HC position undermine continuity and player buy-in. Why would players buy into a new system when they think the guy is probably only going to be there for one year? Secondly, I'll go back to the fact that firing Udoke was one of the dumbest moves the Celtics have ever made. That type of stuff happens frequently in professional sports, the Celtics overreacted, then bungled the whole situation further by turning it into a media circus. It was also obvious that many of the players did not agree and were not informed by the franchise, which further undermined the team. To be honest, getting to the ECF this year was surprising given how badly the Celtics managed the offseason.
Also, Celtics fans seem to ignore (or simply be ignorant) the fact that, compared to Udoke and Stevens, Mazzulla had an incredibly thin roster of assistant coaches. The Celtics (for other inexplicable reasons) let go of a veteran like Will Hardy and Stoudamire left us before the playoffs, creating a mid-season coaching void. That took away the two top assistants and the head coach. Blaming a first year Head Coach who lost his top assistant right before the playoffs is just ridiculous. Mazzulla and the team need another year to see if they can figure it out together.

The man made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in his 1st year!!! That an awesome start to a coaching career..
I mean Shaq has a point. You can't always rely on a coach to motivate. The players need to be self-motivated to go out and perform. What's wrong about that?
Where are the pitchforks for the head of Steve Kerr?
The coach has nothing to do with your best player getting ZERO buckets in 4th quarter… Tatum was consistently quiet in crunch time. He got carried to the ECF and decided not to show up letting his team go down 3 games in a row.
Mark Jackson ,Kenny Smith & Charles Barkley would make good coaches 🤷🏽♀️
Uncle Joe is like a child who is exhorted by his parents (the journalists) as if it were someone else who manages the bench. He is a spokesman who reads what he has to say.
Shaq is correct
Kenny is right. When you live or die by the 3, you live and die…, by the 3. Celtics have zero backup plan if the 3 doesn’t fall. You see what happens on a night when the 3 doesn’t fall. They will be a mediocre team without a plan B even tho they are overloaded with talent.
Please fire joe. Please! Nice guy, but not even close to ready for this role
Chuck made Shaq sound so dumb!!!
When hiring is not based on merit based
DEFINITELY not the man for the job. Btw Boston only rotated 6,7 player. Many dnp's all season. Time to fortify that lineup with capable men in every roster spot
Obviously he is not the man.. Boston should be in the finals easily
Nope. He's outmatched and stubborn.
That comment about no changing tactics when it’s clearly not working shows me he is the wrong man for any top coaching job. Also what so disconnected from reality, nothing but ego!
