I still remember when Tim Duncan giggled on the Spurs bench years ago and was handed a technical by ref.
The officiating is actually better than it was a decade ago. But it's still pretty terrible.
Barnes: "I was talking to myself". Go try and stand near a cop, face the other way so it's clear you aren't talking to him, and say "oh i'm going to kill this popo right here", and see how long it takes till your ass is on the ground. Scottie just a kid that's refusing to take ownership of his actions, and Fred is a mommy that's enabling her child.

Players and coaches are human, it's frustrating for them when supposedly the Refs that are employed by the NBA are competent and don't just take their position for granted, but how can they be competent when they are so unsure of themselves when they call fouls on players whether they are fouls or not, could you imagine if there were unlimited challenges for teams, we would be there all day. I'm sure you could challenge 30% of all their calls, that might not seem like much but when the game is on the line and the Refs make those bad calls it can change the outcome of a game. There is so much contact that gets called and sometime not (50?50 calls). So when a team has worked hard and executed a great game just to go down in flames because of a Refs bad calls or a bad ego that's a shame and a real black mark on the League. Refs have to be accountable and it seems they are not. Let's have auditors go over each game and single out all the bad calls and have some kind of point system and when you reach a certain level you get demoted or used less and have other Refs available to work those games until the problem Refs rectify their deficiencies.
This is nothing new, we been complaining for years and the NBA turns a blind eye to it. Adam Silver is the worst commissioner ever.

The NBA wants certain players and a certain coach out of Toronto. From the start, the NBA has looked down on the 2 teams north of the boarder with contempt. Beginning with our first stars, the NBA has screwed over the Raptors, and didn’t stop with the Grizzlies until they moved to Memphis. Notice how the Grizzlies suddenly became a much better team and had much better time when they moved out of Vancouver. When the Raptors won the championship, it was clear that the NBA wanted Leanord out of Toronto, and did everything possible to get him out. Now, it’s Barnes and VanFleet that are the targets, clear great players playing for the wrong team.
Asinine to think there is a plot against the Raptors. Why do people think that just cause team 1 drives as much as team 2 that they would have the same foul calls? Did they hack peoples arms or not get his feet planted as well as the other team players? Asinine! Also no one knows what Barnes said to the ref. Just cause one ref doesnt know whats going on even if he was closer does not mean Barnes didnt say something. Asinine! These are grown men acting like little cry babies with other little crybabies supporting them telling them they were cheated. Asinine!

I wouldn't blame the ref, raps tried to play hard, they just lack overall speed, skill, shooting, iq. Their length doesn't help that much. I would at least trade away fred and siakam. scottie needs to develop more and play pf.

Yes because the Raptors are of another country and the NBA can't control the media count for marketing.. That is why the Grizzlies left Canada
IMO there are basically two things that are causing the biased officiating:
1. Vegas, and betting apps. Take the gambling element out of the game and watch how fast officiating becomes fair and unbiased again.
2. Raptors are the only Canadian Team, and NBA thinks all teams should be American.
Foster and Taylor are merely the tools that the NBA uses to manipulate who wins or loses.
