I heard it said that the Roman Legions were so efficient they could make even a mediocre commander into a conquering hero and often did. Is it possible that BB was not the supreme genius everybody says he was? Is it possible that having a fantastic QB would make most half-way decent coaches look like geniuses?
It's been Bill for a while now.
He wanted Brady gone for Garoppolo and in 2017 Brady had to go to Kraft's office to demand Garoppolo get traded.
Brady led the team to two more superbowls. Players have talked about how much they didn't like Garoppolo because he refuses to play even slightly hurt.
Bill benched Malcon Butler for the 2018 superbowl against the Eagles where Nick Foales ended up dropping 41 points on them cause off Bill's ego.
He drafted N'keal Harry when AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Deebo were all on the board.
He decided to put Joe Judge and Patricia in charge of the QB room and calling plays.
The patriots seem have have had success in SPITE of what Bill was trying to do at the end of the Brady Era.
Now Brady's gone, we can actually see how nuts it has been.
This is unfair, belecheck is old school the main issue is people don’t have experience in the position, all the positions are extremely specialized. They aren’t interchangeable, plus his son with zero college experience is coaching, which makes zero sense. There wasn’t a former NFL player with more experience. The biggest problem in the NFL is nepotism, not race. Chris has proven himself on the field, so I’m not talking about him, although dad works at NBC and so does son, lol.
Lets get Bill and Lamar together and see how things go
I think the thing is Brady never had a DC and a special teams coordinator in charge of him.

bellycheck without brady is a losing coach…bellycheck thinking a STs coach should be a qb coach for his 2nd year qb was beyond stupid….having a DC and failed head coach be the OC for a 2nd year qb was even more beyond stupid…If I was kraft I would have given bellycheck an ultimatum last year when he wanted to hire these assclowns to run their O…it works or you are fired.
One more losing season and I think it will be Bill’s last season. He’s a unanimous first ballot Hall Of Fame coach. The only thing he could still theoretically need to accomplish is winning a Super Bowl without Brady. It’s extremely unlikely to happen. If I was Bill I would get out now.
Brady might not even be here if bill belicheck is not his head coach in the beginning.

The Patriot Way was Tom Brady……
Belichick has bought into that genius talk about him hence the putting coaches out of position. His attitude seems to be "I can do anything and make it work because I'm smarter than everyone!" Its glaringly apparent that TB was mostly the reason for their success but BB could tone this down if he did things that made sense and not seeming ego driven. If he gets fired it will be his own fault. The only question is would Kraft have the guts to pull the trigger.
I couldn’t pick Mac or Daniel Jones out of a lineup.
Without question all this unnecessary drama is all on Double B and Matty P they put mac in a bad spot and the fact that everyone is still taking about it indicates just how bad of an idea it was to begin with.
