  1. I think Davante isn’t thrilled about Jimmy joining the Raiders. I think Davante might be a bit short-sighted though. One trait that both Jimmy and Aaron share: a quick release. Aaron has a stronger arm but I think that a transition for Davante to Jimmy might be easier than Adams realizes. I’m not confident the Raiders will be successful though because they haven’t been successful for 20 years really. But stranger things have happened. I am interested though to see Jimmy in Vegas because:

A). Jimmy needed a change of scenery, and B.). I want to see how Jimmy plays as a starter for another team.

It is strange though that we’ve really only seen Jimmy play with the 49ers. Jimmy never played as a Patriot because, well, he backed up Tom Terrific.

  2. Simms has definitely been one of those people doubting Davantes ability for a long time

  3. I’m not convinced that Jimmy is a “lesser quarterback” than Carr. They’re pretty different. Derek has a stronger arm but Jimmy has a quicker release. Carr is slightly more mobile but neither guy runs like Lamar. Jimmy has a better win-loss percentage I believe and is better in the playoffs although I think Carr has only started one playoff game? That’s surprising. But because of Jimmy’s release — just north of 0.3 — and win-loss percentage I think Garropolo sometimes doesn’t get enough credit. I won’t be surprised if, somehow, the Raiders make the playoffs even though they’re in the Chiefs’ division. But Jimmy isn’t the type who loses many games: he does win 70-percent of his starts, almost exactly. And that is o think in the top-3 in the league nowadays.

  4. Adams had his best year without Arod. Arod last year had one of his worse years and missed the playoffs.
    I think Davante won.
The receiver makes the QB, not the other way around.

  5. The Win/Loss record of JimmyG needs to have an asterix. How many tackles did Jimmy make? PA's attempted? Runs after the catch?
JG was on a pretty awesome bunch of players playing at elite levels.
DA's completion % dropped with Derek. Was this due to DA, or was it becasue DA wasn't getting the ball in open looks? etc

Each of the 3 QB's are/were on 3 different teams. So, each combination of team mates, game situations etc will change.

    My humble opinion is that
    A) Aaron told DA, "I'm getting out, lets go get you your bag first"
So his like/dependency on Aaron is not a factor
    B) Yes DA is a great receiver, but the O Line needs to hold fast for atleast 3 seconds
    C) the latest rumblings in the fake-news era are that DA doesn't like JimmyG. Not becasue of Jimmy, but i suspect DA setting up the narrative so it doesn't reflect on him if things go south with Jimmy, and more emphasis on the new coach and QB being the cause.

  6. Tae clearly proved it. He’s been the best WR in the league for a few years now. Couple more good years and he’ll get a gold jacket.

  7. Rodgers won 2 mvps 1 Super Bowl and was the best before adams. Adams is great but his team lost a lot. He is the best but rodgers believed in him even after the 2015 season where he was dropping pass after pass. He also was behind great receivers when he came in. I love adams but stats on a losing team doesn’t mean as much. Rodgers also without adams had a “down year” at 26 tds 12 ints with nobody to throw to

  8. Raiders should work a deal with the Jets so AR and DA can take another swing. DA opposite of Wilson with Rodgers tossing the rock along with everything else around them would be fun to watch.

  9. Lol Simms has been one of those people. He literally said a couple years ago that he wasn’t a top 10 receiver because he played with Rodgers.
