Mitch Marner to be traded? Man that has to be one of your worst takes. As someone who don’t miss a game Marner is the heart and soul of our team and is a magician with the puck, absolutely magical. Marner is the future captain in Toronto. Home town boy. Life time leaf.

The biggest mistake would of course if they broke up marner and Matthews… if any team should go after marner is Chicago… they could take on a bad contract, and they have a ton of draft capital… having marner alongside of Bedard as a play driver… seems like a win for Chicago… but as a Canucks fan… love the flow of blue tears

It would be funny watching them blow it up, but i think it would be funnier to watch them overpay for regular season goals.😂
I would trade Matthews and Nylander for solid players that help the team win, maybe get a goaltender also. Tavares, Marner and Rielly would be the top horses like Toews, Kane and Keith were on blackhawks, they just need a real solid team around them and a coach with a proper system.

As much as I wanted to this team succeed in the playoffs but it is time to break up the core 4. I don't think it will matter which one of Matthews, Tavares, Nylander or Marner it will be the best offer that improves tremendously. The Leafs need to build a nasty, Grit oriented team. Officiating needs to be fixed. Carolina's coach Rod had a fantastic idea on how to make officiating better and more efficient.

You are wrong about the Leafs, they are not far off. They just won one game, sure, but that's because Bob robbed them. They played better than FLA across the series.

As long as Vegas doesn't win the cup, I'll be okay with it. I know Florida is currently cupless, but they've been around a while and been fairly listless as a franchise for many years, so I won't feel like that franchise is getting too spoiled
