I have had the long blade snips in my boat and on my vest for over a decade. I have about a half dozen or more of them spread throughout my gear. They cut braided line very well and are quicker to use than scissors when I am trimming my Dorsey or New Zealand indicators. All the built in zingers are still working just like the day I bought them. I was lucky to pick up quite a few of them pretty cheap because they had a lighted version that didn't last very long and they put them on closeout. They are also light, which is great for your pocket or your lanyard. I will say for fly fishing you may be tempted to get the original, but believe me you will get more uses out of the long blade ones.
I turned it off before you got to it, now I still don't need to know that I need to have this.😂
cuts like butter
Good tools!!!
It’s like butter ❤. The small zingers are like a pat of butter!
I’ve always used these instead of nippers
Love these things. Even if they don’t say Abel 😂😂😂
I MUST have that Flip Pallot line bag seen at 1:00. Is it on the website yet?
Man… Now I need those tools
You know it's gonna be awesome with Flip in the thumbnail!🇺🇸
Have had a pair since converting from conventional to fly. 8 years old cutting braid to big mono. It’s a great tool!
Nice products
I’ve know about these for years. Best cutters I’ve ever used.
"I dont even need to say it, but I will. Its like ….." most definitely like margarine
Bought the small nip ones a few years ago and it’s the best. Hands down
I picked up the long blade nippers as a replacement for some cheap scissors for like $15. I keep expecting them to wear out but i cant seem to get them to
To the Editor dropping in the Nintendo switch snap: I see you
A Comment…
Bought those clippers a while back and they do cut like butter. Only reason they are not on my vest Is they are too big. If they could down size them without loosing quality I would jump on another pair for sure. Good company.
Seem like they would work well in a tackle box, but on my person walking around in the river I still prefer the old grandfather method of nail clippers so when I trip and fall in the river. Mother told me not to run with scissors but said nothing about nail clippers. 😉
If you fish both conventional tackle and fly … there simply is no better tool on the market. The $200 nippers sold in some fly shops don’t cut braided line worth a damn. This thing cuts it all. They don’t last forever but replacing a $15 too every couple years is no big deal.
Do the scissors retrack or always exposed?
