Saracens, wow! Great performance and StoneX was rocking by the end. Great game on that front. Shame that Dickson was, as usual, consistently inconsistent. Saints fans were a credit to their club, friendly people who were up for a bit of half-time banter. I’m sure saints will come back stronger next season. Good luck to them. The officials were absolutely shocking , how that’s not a red card at the beginning I don’t know but knowing Sarries past they’ve probably paid the ref
It hard to take criticisms of the officiating seriously when fans seem to be completely incapable of leaving emotion out of it. Fans constantly ask for refs to apply a bit more common sense into their decision making (which I agree with) and yet when they do all you see are complaints about cards not being given out 🙄
How the fuck does Dickson not get these decisions right? Or even see them FFS. I know, let’s get him on the World Cup panel, that’ll help!
I quite like the stonex as a ground. However i think the sounds played through the tannoy whenever Saints threw into the lineout was in bad taste. Also the terrible band needs axing that blasted your ear off and drowned out any sort of chanting.

Sarries awesome yet again, but Maitland should have at least got a yellow for that. That may have changed the result. Dickson is hopeless. I feel sorry for Saints fans, and I'm a Tigers fan!
Comment section is pretty unpleasant on this one. Dickson certainly didn't have a great game but I'd also say he in no way impacted the result of the game. Maitland possibly should have had a yellow right at the start there, neither player was under the ball so all a bit of a weird one, but Maitland by taking his eyes off it definitely in the wrong. Sarries were as dominant as I've seen them all season, especially in the first half. Saints rallied well in the second and showed what they are about, unfortunately for them I thought Mitchell, Smith and Furbank all played quite poorly, together with the pack getting bettered that lead to a tough afternoon for them. Farrell was incredible, controversial moment with him being in touch in the build up to the penalty try aside, his control and leadership is second to none at the moment. Also nice to see he brought his kicking boots for the first time in a while. Maro had his best game in ages and our back row in general were excellent, especially given the injuries we have there. Daly's pace made instant impact, brilliant to have him back for the final against what is looking like a very threatening Sale side.
