  1. Does a SuperBowl contending team really need a home run hitting running back? Or do they just need a back who can consistently get the offense into short down situations? It seems like Kwesi feels the latter provides good enough value to the offense and is cheaper to find.

  2. Hey Florio, the guy 's 28 and his efficiency numbers have fallen off the table the past two years. Even a casual review confirms it. He's sitting at 1336 carries in his career. In 2023 he's likely going to hit the 1500 carry death knell for RB's (Demarco Murray anyone?). Zimmer basically ran this 210 lb back into the ground over the 4 seasons they were both there. But since you two aren't able to recognize it, let me clue you in. This is a poster child for what a "washed" player looks like.

  3. This team needs to get younger, faster, and cheaper. Period. Thank You Dalvin for your service. Time to move on.

  4. Cook's been stumbling and tripping every other run the past 2 seasons. He's good for an explosive play once a game, but he's way too easily brought down finding the hole these days. Ty, McBride, or even Mattison can do a lot of what he does while saving the $ in a year when it's crucial to save.

  5. I don’t follow the Vikings anymore really. One oddity: I looked up Dalvin Cook’s, Adrian Peterson’s and Marshawn Lynch’s career stats. I just used Marshawn because he was pretty successful. But Dalvin’s and Adrian’s fumble rate are almost exactly the same at around one out of 67 or so. Now Marshawn fumbled about once every 90 carries I think. Before Marshawn returned as a Raider I think his number was one out of 120 which seems incredibly good. But what is it about Vikings running backs and fumbles? I wonder if anyone has done a comprehensive analysis of NFL running backs and fumbles. (AP was really bad, in my opinion, as he not only fumbled too much, but it seemed like he fumbled in the worst scenarios too. I think he fumbled in the 2009 NFC Championship Game against the Saints and I believe it really hurt the Vikings. Of course Favre had a bad pick although Brett had a broken ankle at the time, courtesy of Sean Payton, who should’ve gotten a lifetime NFL ban.)

  6. Miami Should trade Cedric Wilson and Miles Gaskin for Cook… Minn. Needs a veteran WR to replace Theilen

  7. Keep him. One year with Jefferson, Addison and Hockenson.

  8. What’s the point of moving on from him right know? He’s still better than mattison. You gain cap space but what good does the do you at this point? You are a better team with him still on the team this year.

  9. Bottom line. Cook should have had surgery long ago rather than playing hurt for 3 seasons. He had those few big plays but outside those, he had no other plays of 20 yards or more all season. He has lost his explosiveness and doesn't see open field well. He continually runs into crowds of players rather than toward open field. He is a good player but he isn't worth ten million any more if he ever was.

  10. They also drafted a running back McBride that is pretty good from what I understand

  11. I was at the colts game and watched the Dalvin touchdown right in front of me great memories.but time to get younger everywhere

  12. Somebody remember these words, his best season is in front of him, if he's let go, then get him out of the conference.

  13. Minnesota just doesn't want to let him be released they want something for him lol 🤣 as a Vikings fan y'all made the mistake not to take the deal when you had it

  14. Nobody deserves this downfall more than the Vikings. They were so cocky last year and got dominated by a rebuilding giants team, lol.

  15. Kevin O’Connell is going to be exposed this year. The Vikings had one of the luckiest years in NFL history last year. He had a lot of questionable in game decisions. He’s an OC masquerading as a HC.

  16. Doesn’t matter if we had a super team, as long as we have Kirk we are capped bc Kirk cannot take us over the hump. So for me I say get rid of them all and start over and hope we can get a QB nxt yr
