  1. Jelen Carter was driving 90 in a 40. Don't tell me he's a good guy. Don't give me the excuse he's the only guy doing drills.

  2. I don't know jalen Carter is good guy or not. and most of us don't know. I am impressed his achievements in college though. IF he is available, I hope we take him.

  3. Assuming Carter is gone by then….
Pick at 9 or trade back no further than the Packers and take JSN
    1. Past results of reuniting college qb and wr have shown success
    2. QB negotiations in a couple years will be much easier
    3. If we don't take home, a good chance Green Bay does and Bears fans don't need to be reminded 2x a year that we passed him up after every great play against us
    4. QB with weapons = more confidence in getting rid of the ball quicker
    5. This is a building process over the next couple of years to make an elite team.. we have depth and draft capital to vet it done
    6. I could be wrong about all of this but it is fun to watch and weigh in 🙂

  4. Trade 9, 53, & 103 with the Cardinals for the 4th pick. Draft Jalen Carter b4 Seattle picks him @ 5.

  5. thank goodness someone finally said to stay away from oline and that you can coach up oline that you draft later on.

  6. If you can’t name the player’s name, then I don’t believe you’ve done any research to have an opinion on rating these players. Thank you Thayer, you were part of the great 85 Bears. But you’re on par with so many YouTube Bears opinions speaking without real research knowledge.

  7. Absolutely no acknowledgement of the improvements? Not saying it’s we’re all good to go, but man, Billings is a big beast run stopper. That MFer is a run stopping monster. Walker and Green are definitely improvements, flexible to rotate in on 3tech and edge, all at their physical prime years. Again, not saying this is done, Poles will without a doubt, address the DL/Edge & OL which are deeper than most years. We’re moving in the right direction and I absolutely trust if Poles wants to draft “Darnell Wright” that Tennessee guy, Skoranski, Paris, Carter, or whoever. Our GM and front office are clearly doing tons of work and walking into the Draft ready. I trust in Poles. 🐻⬇️

  8. Thayer is absolutely correct. If you want to improve this team, improve this defense. If you build a defense that stops the run, you are more than half way to controlling games, which gives the offense more chances, controls the clock, and lets the D tee off and really pass rush the other teams.

  9. This isn't the same league. You Have to protect JF1!!! Trade back and get Wright if you can. Will say if they take Kancey i would be pumped.

  10. Sayin jimbo covert is the reason you don’t need to worry about arm length is absolutely absurd, you take the best player on your board and you don’t take an OT with TRex arms in today’s NFL

  11. The good kid! I Met Tom Thayer last year. Cool down to earth guy. I was trying to talk a lil football and he was more interested in ME as a person? Can barely get my wife to do that 😂😂 came to my work. My boss asked me do I know who this is… I chuckled and said absolutely and jumped out of my machine and shook his hand. Even put out his number for good measure.

  12. It’s 2023 and you have a QB that had the worst receiving cast in the league and needs to develop in passing.

Idc if we have Moore now, if he gets injured (I pray he doesn’t) will have the worst receiving cast in the league again.

Take JSN, it’s all about weapons for Fields.

Get out of that D-Line and o-line mindset. It’s not the 80s anymore. We are in the era of offensive renaissance. All the best QBs have two number one receivers (minus Mahomes who has TK).

  13. No, "Jerko", what YOU think doesn't matter.
You're about as sharp as a marble.

  14. Seahawks have #5 not Detroit. Jalen Carter and Tyree Wilson unlikely on the board at 9. With picks 53, 61, 64 there should still be some defensive line talent.

  15. Fellas, respectfully, why are you making EXCUSES for Carter not being ready for his Pro Day when others who went through the same schedule were??? Do you not know it's too risky for a 1st round pic for Poles to do this when we can get other good Talent even if we trade down? (Kenyon White, Clancy or that real good Tennessee O Tackle…)

  16. Stop with the Carter talk… Its not that we don't think he is good.. but those who know, know better… Carter is not falling that far.. The wet dream has to stop… Pete Carrol is not afraid of a wild child never has been and Detroit is in love with him too! To bash O lIne or other roles when you have no clue is meaningless!

  17. Carter is a dog and you must take him if he's available. If you go O line first, there are still defensive linemen to get who can play day one. Like Foskey, Benton and White and I like Pickens also. The depth is at the the D line if you're scouting.

  18. Thayer should be the future Bears GM. You sir make a lot of sense.
