  1. Super Bowl outside US is plain stupid, regards from Europe.
And remember your not world champions when winning as its not a world sport and just a national league.

  2. my all time favorite football joke was told by rob riggle on fox nfl sunday.
"jets fans like to reminisce about the good ole day. that one day."

  3. Moving two teams to Europe makes sense before Jerry would let another team in texas….or okc… salt lake could probably support a team now…

  4. I don’t see how 4 team expansion could work. Not enough top tier talent, especially qb’s that last quarter of the season.

  5. Shad Khan owns the stadium in London the NFL plays the game. Germany is a good sports market, bonkers for foutball. High per capita income.

  6. The Lions have a big time Offense and score 30+ vs the Eagles last year… they are definitely a good pick for game 1.

  7. Salt Lake City would be the perfect expansion city. West Coast/mountain time zone could use another team in that area.

  8. When The Lions beat The Packers, at Lambeau with nothing to gain but a win, on the last game of the season it caught eyes of The NFL. HÇ Dan Campbell and his staff had their players going hard like it was a playoff game. Safety Kirby Joseph, a 3rd round pick rookie, intercepted Aaron Rodgers for the 3rd time in a season. No one had ever held that distinction. Which is a testimony to how well GM Brad Holmes and his staff have drafted. In this year's draft eyebrows wère raised when they traded down and picked RB Gibbs. I believe it was a great pick. Gibbs is more in the word's of HC Dan Campbell a "weapon" than just a ball carrier. These are not the "same old Lions" which is why they were chosen to open the season against The Super Bowl Champion Chiefs.

  9. There’s not a snowballs chance in hell that a team goes to London or Europe

The travel would be absolute BS

  10. Dan, you are dead wrong about the Lions. The Lions are must see. Look at their games last season (take out the Patriots game where they were truly injury depleted) and their contests were the best in the league. High scoring with multiple big plays, close contests, dramatic while being the underdog. Stuff like that does not happen often and doesn't get any better. Wise up. You've had Jared Goff on your program over the years and treated him nicely (he even sent you signed gear) but you dismiss him as a top player, which he has rightfully earned in his career. Cooper Kupp & Amon St. Brown both hold franchise rookie receiving records. The QB? Jared Goff. Goff as the QB in Detroit set scoring records for the Lions offense that set NFL and franchise marks. Scoring a TD in 11 straight quarters to open a season had never been done before. The team scored 54 TDs (52 on offense) last season, highest in franchise history. The Lions passed for more than 4,000 yards and rushed for over 2,000 yards for the first time in franchise history. Goff with the Rams accomplished that team feat twice in Los Angeles in 2018 & 2020. Goff as the QB has led three top five offenses in 6 years with two different teams. Matthew Stafford achieved that feat once in his career back in 2011. Sean McVay's only top 5 offenses as a coach or coordinator with Washington and LA came with Goff as the QB. No one thought the Lions were going to be good last year until they were good last year, and Jared Goff remains one of the principal reasons for the team's success. Goff also went toe to toe and won in the epic game of this century 54-51 in the Los Angeles Coliseum back in 2018. Tremendous story lines heading into the opener. Sorry you have a tough time seeing it.

  11. Raiders vs Chiefs on Christmas day isn't a 'watchable game', huh? Let's earmark that comment by Florio and revisit in several months.
