I can do this, but I worked as an assistant pro for several years, and you get plenty of time to practice in the pro shop on slow days. It takes A LOT of practice. Probably more than most people have to dedicate to it.
It never ceases to impress the hell out of people, but the only thing actually useful about it is being able to scoop your ball up without bending over. It's sorta fun too though.
