Hamilton fan here and Max is currently the quicker driver in most situations, Hamilton has slowed quite a bit of late. However if we’re talking about peak career then it’s not even close, Hamilton without a shadow of a doubt.

Hamilton is comfortably superior. Crashstappen needs a better car otherwise he can't handle Hamilton.

yeah with all these new DTS fans, it's no wonder that they'd pick Max. max had a better car in 2021, cheated, had help from Masi and still only just won. 2022 his car was probably the most dominant car in the entire history of F1.

Max is definitely more consistent. Lewis has a history of falling asleep for half the season
In Vettel era I thought: 'This guy is a God of qualifying and racing. How he can be so good?' We all know how he was looking after. I could say same for Max now.
Conclusion: When Red Bull builds good car, he builds it in the way that top driver looks miraculously good in it. Now Lewis looks small comparing to Max. But I am sure that battle would unravel in some interesting ways, especially if we would be able to see it accros many seasons.
"If he'd have to hop into another car it'd be a steep learning curve." He won his first race in a Red Bull at age 18 so I kind of doubt it. The true greats need very little time to adjust, Alonso proved that again today.

The word delusional is applicable there. Lewis was beaten in 2021 while having the slightly fastest car and Mercedes still had to take Max out twice in a row. He also lost to Russell last year. He would get destroyed against Verstappen.
Clickbait title. I'm surprised that so many British fans are vowing for Max though. I can guarantee that you would never see such a result at a Dutch racing expo.
Lewis only one so many races because he was in a super dominant car without a good teammate. Max would destroy Lewis in a similar car.
