Does The Backswing Really Matter part: 3

  1. I mean yeah you’re downswing is what is processed on the track man, but to gain consistency you ideally keep your swing on the same circle. This allows for a more fluid and often more powerful motion.

  2. It’s not the path of your backswing
but only the taughtness of your man bun.
    Lesson learned.

  3. Higher hands more power, but shallow swing forces you to rotate which is also good for power. Of course you can do both. Matt wolf, jim furyk, jack nicklaus bubba watson come to mind with a high backswing but shallows it out on the downswing. Just look at how high kyle berkshire gets his hands.

  4. I see your point. To end all the controversies that’s going to happen here I would like to conclude “It’s all about matchups.” John rahm and matt wolff are good examples.

  5. You should wear a kimono and place chopsticks in your little man bun. Get more views.

  6. One can only pull this off ONLY if they are aware of how the wrist angles and arm structure works to shallow the club by transition.

Most amateurs have no clue how to do this. So the best and easiest fix for a teaching pro is to get most amateurs swinging on plane or even with the "outside takeaway" feel.

If you bring a high handicapper inside on the takeaway or promote them to say it's ok to be inside, they will be steep almost always unless given proper instruction. Please don't be promoting inside takeaways…

For those with inside takeaways go see an actual teaching pro to understand how to avoid being steep.

  7. Hey man I’ve always had a question for you. You seem very knowledgeable, and your techniques help me and the community’s. Where did you learn the Knowledge you have now?
