Thorne was supported by that great Spartan RB that left in the 2022 NFL Draft, the portal guy from Wake Forest, then when the pieces around Thorne changed, Thorne's productivity dropped like an anchor

Neil Smith was a great example of player development under Osborne. Before him two great examples were the Williams brothers, one a D End and one a D Tackle both played in the NFL. Plaer development is something that has been sorely missing the past several years.
