Talented Avani Prashanth urges govt. to build driving ranges in Tier 2 cities to promote golf



Bengaluru-based golfer Avani Prashanth scripted history when she clinched the elusive Queen Sirikit Cup individual title in Manila, Philippines recently by a whopping 10-stroke margin. This is the first time ever that an Indian has won the title in the tournament’s 43-year history. Talking to Sports9 exclusively after her return, Avani urged the Indian government to build driving ranges in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to promote golf among young girls.
