Its curious that the Cardinals moved up into the Lions pick for PJJ. Unless they felt the Lions or Raiders were going to take PJJ, they could have just traded with Chicago and taken PJJ at 9 and then the Bears could have gotten Wright and maybe more than a future 4th. Cardinals would have saved some draft capital and still got their guy and in a worst case scenario, Bears had to take Skoronski if Wright got grabbed by the Titans. Cardinals jumping up to get PJJ was a reach for me and possibly pushed the Bears into only having that Eagles trade.
Dream scenario tonight is the Bears can get Benton or White for 3 tech, grab another DE with one of their other picks, and take either Charbonet, a corner, WR, or Tippmann with their 3rd pick of the night.
Last night, our Bears moved from the number 1 to 10. We got DJ Moore, Daniel Wright, A second round pick tonight, a first round pick next year, a 4th round pick next year, and a second round pick in 2025.. What's there to complain about?
I understand that we. All want the bears to win this year but poles is setting the team up for success next year and beyond . Two first next year to use for leverage BEAR DOWN
Don't see us beating the Eagles, at least for awhile. Eagles lose Hargroves and then nail the first round getting Carter and Nolan Smith. So glad JSN did not go to Packers and Bijan did not go to a division rival. Detroit made shocking picks. Minnesota got Addison which can only help their passing game. I think not getting an earlier second rounder will hurt Bears.
Everyone agrees that pressure up the middle disrupts ALL QBs because they can’t step up. So, if it’s rare and our defense requires it, I’m starting to question the scheme.
After the Bears draft a Center tonight, Cody Whitehair will not be the center for the Bears next year. Indeed, he won’t even be on the team. It would be general manager malpractice if the Bears didn’t trade him or make him a post June 1st Cap Casualty.
Better check your info again, "Hahj" – we received ONE 4th rounder in the trade with the Eagles: a 2024 4th-rounder. We didn't get anything this year except fleeced by Philly.
Who gave Justin Fields fits last year? It was Aiden Hutchison in Detroit. Now, we got a nasty powerful tackle who can shove him outta the way or change his direction. That's a beautiful thing!

Get edge help and we win the NFC North. DB is close to lockdown, WR loaded, RB loaded, Oline improved, LB loaded, S great, Dline has some depth now. Poles is slowly but surly Turing this franchise around.

If we were so willing to trade back, it’s clear the Bears didn’t want Carter the whole time.
Every bears fan that is mad at not taking carter, they are the same people complaining that Justin Fields has no protection
My day two wish list for the Bears
Derick Hall
Keenau Benton
Ricky Stromberg

Will Anderson said Darnell Wright was the best linemen he played against.
Interesting that the 1 team that didn't meet with Carter and whose agent didn't feel were worthy of meeting Carter, took Carter.
Took him into deep water, they just worked him like a dog, and he passed.

Hope everyone trusts the tape and lets us get Adetomi
Loved the Darnell Wright pick. Let’s go get Adebawore!!! 🐻⬇️
The Athletic gave the Bears pick a D- lol dumb people work for them huh?
Well, Carter wasn't in good enough shape to be evaluated according to Bears evaluation process…
They had to consider that Wright was the next tackle. They obviously had him higher than Skoronski
The Bears likely view Keion White as a 3-tech. Keep an eye out for him tonight, also.
I love the pick. We got a mauler at right tackle now.
