This guy is pretty harsh. If you think the jets could have possibly dreamed that those two positions would have locked them out of a chance for one of the tackles you have to be smokin something funny. That's not the Jets fault. Did they give up too much for Rogers? Maybe but compared to what other teams gave up for some recent top vet QBs it wasn;t all that much. So the draft rolled out badly for the jets this year. Last year the draft fell the Jets way exactly, resulting in offensive and defensive rookies of the year on the same team. WHen was the last time that happened? Was that Great Drafting by the Jets..? Maybe, but they were also lucky three other teams passed on sauce. As for not takin a receiver….they didn't need one of these receivers… sorry but they ain't that great and The jets have 4 quality receivers already. It looked to me like JD was trying to work a deal — maybe to trade down, but it sounded like he was not getting any great offers.
I'm not crazy about the Jet's pick, but I don't think I would have been happy with anyone after they lost out on the tackles.

And the Jets grab the best center and an OT that woulda went earlier but got hurt BTW maybe the best pass blocker in the draft but struggles in the run — the haters even got Ross trippin.
