If experience is any guide it will work for a round or two then the swing improvement demons will manifest out of golf hell and we all know what that means…
I've literally just been working on the same. My head fell off a few weeks ago. Tooo many swing thoughts. Slowing it down and better tempo helped my strikes. But I've lost distance. Still a bit too steep but got my ball striking back.
Getting your swing plane more upright is definitely working. More (shoulder) turn, more stable at the top, thus more swing speed coming down. Lookin' better…..!!
I’ve just gone through all your video’s. You have a lot that claim to add 20 yards to your drive. Once I finish watching them all, I’ll be driving the ball 640 yards
Am I missing something, you keep saying doing this has changed my game, WHAT are u doing lol. What swing thought are u talking about . You keep saying can this thought, help can this help but u never said WHAT please tell me
I have watched this video 4 times now and maybe I am just lost but I am not getting this swing thought, u keep saying this 1 swing thought but never say the thought, unless I'm clueless
Many years ago bought a David Ledbetter cd and he gave similar tips on how to load your backswing using an umbrella stuck in the ground. Nick Price was the demonstrator and really gave me a lot help getting more distance.
it is better and this is why, your swing in this video, already a very fine swing mind you, but… as I mentioned, there is a why to your distance gain, AND… so on and so forth, yadda yadda yadda, eh hem ehmmm, ummm, ok, SOOOO, You are in control of the handle of the club at the finish of the upswing, natural vertical wrist hinge, has kept the club in front of you. The wrist hinge isnt strained and the fingers of the top hand have maintained a constant pressure on the butt end of the grip. From here the reason for your gain is that you are squatting yes but also dropping the flat of your belly onto floor between you and the ball.It creates a hips belly based first move back to the ball which is also a moving away of the sacral force of the golf swing from the centifugal force of your shoulders, arms hands. I dont like to hear people say leave the club behind because it is an effect of doing the previous move properly so there is no need to try and do it. Steve Johnston explains it well and the eureka alignment also helps with achieving the desired effect. But the separation of the lower body from the upper body at the beginning of the downswing and doing it naturally is indeed an especially valuable component of an efficient strike and its older brother, consistency. The continuation of the separation also known as lower body rotation is preeminent in that it places the trouser button in a race with the butt of the handle, with the perceived goal being that the button might win the contest until well after the ball has been throttled towards the heart of the target. The you tube vid of Moe Norman striking a wedge will explain in an instant what blather attempt to explain here, it is the pearl of Moe's power and consistency, The belly turns away, then begins the downswing by centering itself flatly before the centrifugal power begins to spool. The rest is the fine tuning of well struck ballflights. Great videos. Keep up the great work James Rob-O !!

I literally need this consistency This was super nice. I'd rather swing abit slower but with better results. Will try asap ;D
