Can I Beat A DP World Tour Winner?

How would an amateur golfer get on in a match against the DP World Tour Winner, Eddie Pepperell?

I travelled to Frilford Heath to take him on, and we filmed every shot to see if I can beat a DP World Tour winner!

  1. Did you forget to warm up the wedges, 😂
Couple of putts could’ve dropped and the result would’ve been different.

  2. What a nice day you had to film. Enjoyed the video. I play with my wife weekly and we find often the men's to ladies tee box separation puts her at a disadvantage, but that didn't look to be the case for you at this course. I would love to see mixed tournaments on a professional level as you spoke of.

  3. Fantastic to see Eddie. He's been one of my favourites for a long time!

  4. How nice was Eddie? 👍🏻 My god, Hannah, you rip it – I’d kill for your swing! 😂 Great video. 😊

  5. Nicely played early season nine. These matches are fun to watch. They bring out your great ball striking and lovely personality. Good job to all involved. Hopefully you are on with Finch or Shiels soon and you get a well deserved channel boost as a result.

  6. Nice going Hannah! Since this was a casual match, were you two playing preferred lies or were my eyes playing tricks on me? I could've sworn that Eddie moved his ball for his second shot on the second hole @ the 2:16 mark (although he did later say @ 7:39 that he was, "allowing himself some winter rules"). I love these match videos hearing the pros talk about their thought process on shot making, more than just watching them hit nice shots as it helps to know why they hit certain shots and what they think about before the shot. I thought it was a bit curious (and interesting) that Eddie wasn't aware of the lead tape on his 3 iron (that you pointed out to him @ 7:44). His comment that, "they probably just tried to help the swing weight match the rest of the irons", made me think his "team" does things to adjust his clubs without his even knowing what they do! Must be nice 😆😅 I have the same issue of pulling my 3/4 shots with my irons. I think it's that my upper body is outpacing my lower body because I'm trying to hit it softer, so I need to make sure to keep initiating my swing using my knees and hips even with softer shots; same with the short chips around the fringes. Great match, and you'll get the next one!

  7. ah, but he had a buggy and you carried your bag. That's definitely worth four or five shots. You've been a bit charitable.
