He was the top recruit out of high school & ended up being the 1st overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft. He played a couple years for the Philadelphia 76ers where he earned 3 All-Star appearances & was a 2-time All-Defensive player.
Simmons was lauded as the next big great player in the NBA. Comparisons were made with the likes of LeBron James & Magic Johnson. But unfortunately, in a Game 7 that would feature many missed opportunities, Ben Simmons’ career would change forever.
