  1. Not everyone is an NFL QB. Zach just isn't. When I saw his pro day throws that everyone was going crazy over my thought was JaMarcus Russell and Kyle Boller could throw the ball that far to.

  2. Not1 time did he blame himself or mention mayb he cuda help in dif ways sum1 else gonna end up wit up him wit a better coach & turn him in2 sumtn

  3. Let me translate: Zach should have sat behind a veteran year one, The OC was in over his head, Zach got pummeled behind the O-Line and lost his confidence which lead to extremely bad choices, terrible mechanics and panicking in the pocket. It was a combination of everything.

  4. Zach is spoiled brat he doesn’t love football Drew love to play really was student of the game Zach has a rich family and feels no responsibility to anything he born in this generation drew is from the old school different mentally. If Zach doesn’t learn from AROD then he will never will . My gut is that they trade him if not this YR Next YR for a 2 or 3 rounder

  5. talk physical skills all day (ZW could not make the simple throws) but its his interpersonal skills are nonexistent…just ask his teammates

  6. Very first question he gave it away: "I would say….I mean ZACH WOULD TOO!"
Nope. Nope he wouldnt. He WAS asked "anything your fault" Answer: "no."
There's the problem: bad character, you cant teach that.

  7. This narrative that Zach Wilson should have sat behind a vet is hilarious. Please I’ll wait for the list of QBs taken 2nd overall in the past 15 years that haven’t started immediately.

  8. I really hope he puts it together and succeeds. I want it to be in NY with the Jets, but if it isn't, I'll stll.root for him.

  9. I totally agree that it's all up to Zach to re-energize his career. I have never written him off, but he has a lot to prove to us, that he is not done as a Jet. I will root for him to make it happen.

  10. Seems like good guy. I would have asked if the spotlight turning to A Rod this might be a plus for Zach. Wether he's #2 or #3, if he can just grind during the off-season and training camp like Beck says, how could he not get better? Zach seems to love the game and he clearly has talent. His ego gets the best of him and he let the circus of NY Press and expectations get to him. Regardless he might never be an NFL starter again. But the only way we'll know is if he does the work.

  11. John Beck Was a Horrific 2nd Round pick by the Dolphins . I believe he Never Won a Nfl Game as a Starter .

  12. Steve Young has a great journey and Story. USFL to the Bucs, to the 49ers QB2 under Joe Montana to League MVP, SB Champ and MVP.

  13. Spoken like a man who knows what he is talking about. This is the perfect opportunity for him to improve.

  14. All of the qb's in the nfl have the physical skill set, every godamm one, it's what they have between their ears that makes the difference, gotta be able to process info fast or the mistakes will pile up

  15. Sounds great except he’s a #2 pick overall and he’s gonna have to get paid in 2 years. Same situation as DJ except he prob won’t get to play to showcase what he can do unless A A Ron withdraws to the darkness…. 👀😂

  16. Perhaps Saleh should have hired an offensive staff with experience developing QBs instead of filling up that unit with personal friends.

HC + OC + QB Coach have all combined to develop zero franchise QBs. In Zach's rookie year, the Slot WR led the team in career pass attempts before week 1.

Passing game coordinator was the ONLY guy with any experience. Saleh never bothered to replace his position entering Zach's second year.

  17. I knew two years ago I prayed I was wrong but Zach being the main man day one. In New York. Every defense was salivating at the chance. Poor Zach didn't stand a chance. Go ahead new York. Cut him. Do the kid a favour before you ruin him.

  18. This dude literally said nothing lol just 5 minutes of the most bland generic coach-speak answers. The correct answer is a bad o-line and an offensive coordinator who was in over his head. He never tried to do what Wilson was good at or set him up for success.

  19. He had no accountability in the press room, that's where he screwed up. He left the defense high and dry

  20. it's hysterical that John Beck is considered a QB guru.
the guy was (and still is) a nobody.
    his opinion is worthless.
Zach is done in the NFL.

  21. I think Zach Wilson is one of the most physically gifted QBs from an arm talent standpoint. He’s right there with Stafford and Mahomes (pure arm talent-wise). He’s super young tho (only 23) and literally started @ 21 yo. He still has a ton of potential and most of his issues are maturity based, not talent based. Only he can fix it. But this will be an opportunity for him to prove it. He’s definitely not done. I hope he gets it worked out.

  22. I want to say that he's done in NY. It's not just the play, but his current situation is not ideal. He's going to be a backup in his third year, and if Aaron Rodgers stays for another year then he'll be a backup for year 4, with a 5th year option probably not being accepted with how bad he's been. If he wants to succeed I feel like he needs Aaron to retire after one year, just to get another chance to play. Knowing the Jets, he'll end up signing with the Colts or something and be a HOF QB there, while the Jets still look for an answer.
