Wawrinka has to face Novak more often to regain his old prime form coz he struggles against nobodies but plays his best against novak
Taylor is a machine, he consistently wins and makes good runs
Nothing dramatic here, it's just tennis! Stop over hyping everything tennis tv, the sport will be fine without federer.

First set good for Stan. He's brave, you have to give him that.🙄👏
So amazing to watch Wawrinka whether he wins or loses. A true champion on-off the court. Still so much tennis on him and he's proving it with every match.
This match with Fritz could have gone either way but that last point Stan was very tired and could play as the champion he is or he would win the set and then mental pressure would help him win the match.
Congrats to Taylor. Was a great match. Hope to see the 3x GS champion Wawrinka on the Grand Slams this year. It will be one of the last times we will see a true legend playing. Same for Rafa. And same for Novak.
I feel blessed to have witnessed this legendary era of tennis since I was a teen, with Roger included.
Moving forward is Carlitos era, but I will miss Stan and the Big 3…
wawrinka is my favorite player, but his career is basically over. nothing to be done about it
2014 2015 2016 fully focused, fearless wawrinka at the peak of his form. Especially at the Grand Slams. Extremely scary.
That's how I'll always remember Wawrinka.

Sad to see Stan make a mess of those set point opportunities. Completely went off the boil after losing the first set with so many wasted opportunities. Definitely can't afford that against a regular solid top tenner like Fritz.

Fritz is so much better than he looks. He has great court smarts, racquet control, shot selection and placement. The last point is a great example: from a very off-balance position, he's able to direct that ball up the line AND have it drop low enough to make Wawrinka hit a very tough volley, which goes in the net.
I'm confident he'll win a few slams at least. He's right up there with the top guys.

Wawrinka is such a lost cause, every now and then he comes back pretending he's got it and gets kicked off after 1 or 2 games. Ok his 3 GC but please, is this all he's good at, bragging about his past victories? Coz right now, he's a "bon à rien". Aggravated by his rude arrogant behaviour.
Stan's single handed backhand is a thing of absolute beauty! My favourite.
