NASCAR Cup Series: Food City Dirt Race Highlights | NASCAR on FOX



Stage one of the NASCAR Food City Dirt Race had a number of cautions, highlighted by a costly caution which featured Joey Logano, William Byron, and Bubba Wallace. As stage one came to a close, another caution that featured Denny Hamlin allowed Kyle Larson to win stage one. Moving into stage two, Tyler Reddick was able to use a strong finish to capture the victory. Heading into the final stage, Kyle Larson was hoping to overcome adversity and finish strong, but a number of cautions forced Larson’s day be cut short. Going into the final laps, Christopher Bell held on to win the final stage of the NASCAR Food City Dirt Race.

    Remember back when Bristol had a waiting list because it sold out every race. Now they can’t even get half capacity with this mediocre garbage stage racing and progressive banking.

    this is so sad to see the track that was sold out for year ahead now with few people in the stands, and I will keep saying if nascar wants to get people back they have to go back to the original rules and get the prices down at the track and the drivers and team members need to get real with their pay nascar drivers are now known as just a bunch of spoiled rich guys playing and I would agree with that and I wont even say what I think they should be paid because I don't need the criticism.

    I am so glad I did not spend 4 hours on Sunday watching this, what A WASTE OF TIME. Cars spinning by themselves and it ends in a yellow. BORING

    Truex was placed 7th, but was in 6th when the last caution came out. I missed stage 3, so what happened?

    I remember when you had to order tickets 3 years in advance for the Bristol races. Now they are lucky to get a 1/4 of the seats bought. When Big Bill and Bill JR, ran Nascar the TV audience was through the roof, and every seat was full at every race. It only took Big Bill's grandson Crosseye Brian a couple of years to run it into the ground.
