  1. Hybrids have gone to stupid money. I fell off my chair the last time I looked.
Here is a deal I got that will make you smile Simon.
Now I've changed golf clubs the course I have gone too has some tall oak trees. The hybrid is out of the bag and I bought the same 7 wood I had the last time I was a member here. £10 !!!
They both go about the same distance but the 7 wood goes over trees.

  2. Recently bought a cobra f9 3 hybrid of ebay it's going to be a game changer this summer. Could be the best £38 ever spent. my problem is that I can hit it further than my pxg 0211 driver Any advice Simon?

  3. I’m still using the x2 hot 4 and 5 I brought new in 2012….. 5 is starting to go a little high as I have added a few extra mph over the last few months so thinking of swapping into the 5 iron that I have never used

  4. I use 3 TaylorMade rocketballs stage ones, wouldn't not want to be without them.

  5. I still can't use them. Use my old x hot 21 degree 4 iron. My other set (nike pro vr combo) is up to 4 iron 24 degree so it fits perfectly. To big gap between my 3 wood and my old 4 iron so still trying to fill it🤣🤣
Tried a few different options but always just sells them so I am going down the utility iron road.

  6. You're the man, Simon! This video couldn't have come at a better time for my search 🙏 love the content.

  7. I have Adams Idea V Tech 3h &4h that I bought on Ebay. Ditched the 5W completely and haven't looked back.
Edit: yes, they are old clubs.

  8. Quite right Simon. Excellent video!!! I've just discovered a 4-iron though!! Who knew that I could hit 160 yard baby draws!!! That's thanks to your tuition!!! Scary!!!

  9. £89 TOUR EDGE 5 HYBRID, BRAND NEW CUSTOM FITTED AT AMERICAN GOLF
FORGET PAYING £100 FOR OLD USED HYBRIDS

  10. Simon , I bought a seemore putter of you a while back on eBay, and it’s the best club in my bag.A few young lads have said “nice putter mate “ best buy of my life

  11. My 19.5° Wilson Fybrid is my fairway finder and from the deck 4h and 5h, again both Fybrids.
These are decent clubs for ~£30 each.
Irons are 5-E Hogan Edge CFT

  12. I have 2, 4 & 5 M1 hybrids. A mix of 2016 & 2017 models. About £70 each and easily the most dependable from the tee or anywhere on the course.

  13. Brilliant video Simon. Exactly what I was looking for right now. Pretty much matching up to player B I have Driver, 5 wood, 4 hybrid.
Have been considering tinkering with 3 wood and 7 wood. But don't think there is any point after watching this.

  14. Struggle with 3 wood an low lofted hybrids but my 22° hybrid is my go to 150 carry any day of the week does a job….to cover how badly I hit 3 wood previously an can't seem to get my 19° hybrid to do as I want I've discovered a 3 Hywood by cleveland…its possibly the best unknown club in golf at the moment 18° but goes high an long….love it an at the moment I'd say my one ain't making the second hand market👍⛳️👍

  15. Great video Simon, your knowledge is unbelievable and so well put across and easy to understand

  16. I picked up a couple of Cobra F6 hybrids a few years back for about $80 total. With adjustability, they cover any loft from 19° down to 25°. I've changed most of the clubs in my bag over the last couple years, but those hybrids aren't going anywhere.

  17. Good video. The best combination of clubs for me (64 years, 22 handicap) when I’m carrying in winter, is 50 degree gap wedge, 9 iron, 7 iron, 5 hybrid, 7 wood and driver. My driver goes about 160 yards in the air in the winter, so that combination covers most circumstances. I add other clubs when I use my trolley in the summer but frankly, it just complicates things!
