  1. Most amateurs shouldn’t copy this swing. Not the same flexibility or athleticism. The take away is the sequencing with the left hip on the downswing.

  2. I'll stick with current teaching, for men anyway, that the swing is lower body led, both backswing and downswing. Agree she has beautiful swing.

  3. Great breakdown of her swing, and your explanation makes this easy to understand! I agree with Matts comment!

  4. This is an excellent swing. I absolutely love the fact that Minjee doesn’t move left in transition. Too many players mess this up because they are told that weight transfer improves the speed of their downswing. In my professional experience, the lower body should stabilize and support the swing of the arms. Your video is one of the best at pointing this out, Jim. Excellent analysis. Cheers 🇨🇦

  5. Glad you mentioned the separation between upper and lower body in the takeaway. Very important!

  6. I used to try and swing this way, with great separation between upper and lower body – the modern one plane swing ala Jim Hardy. It worked. It also ruined my back. I now work on an unrestricted swing – an old fashioned two plane swing ala Jim Hardy. My back is much better.

  7. Classic stack and tilt golf swing. It's one way to get the job done but not the only way.

  8. Sincere question… Aren't we supposed to keep our right elbow connected to the body?

  9. Good weight distribution simple swing of the hips. Looks like Nossa come November. Someday would like to see Perth. That's what throws girlfriend off is the slang Min Jee understands it.

  10. Just another clueless Youtube “golf instructor” talking a lot of nonsense. Arnold Palmer did not keep his hips still at the start of the backswing and he was one of the longest hitters of his generation

  11. Just like most all doctors, we are. It all built like her. We have to find OUR swing. Go back to the three greats, Nicklaus, Travino and Palmer. They could all win at any given time, yet two of them had the ugliest swings in golf at the time. So this showing of what everyone needs to do is total BULL.

  12. What about the 70% of us that haven’t got her flexibility?

  13. On the the downswing, she keeps the club head outside her trail shoulder through impact. The movement of the trail shoulder is what opens up her front hip. The trail shoulder is what puts the left side into the correct space for good impact.

  14. What I don’t like about her swing is left knee doesn’t point towards the hole which opens up your hips and back .
