To the second guy; I don't know if Lampard should have been brought back but Potter definitely had to go. I was looking forward to what he can do when he had the full squad available but he dug his own grave when he started playing players out of position. And to the people saying he had a bloated squad, he had the full public backing of the owners. So all he had to do was pick his choice of players from a very talented group and just stick with them. In the end he took too much time to find solutions to his problems. Results in the premier league were bad and there were examples where you could directly point fingers at the managers. And as the first caller pointed out, Lampard actually did pretty well with the squad we had. Even though it was just for a brief period, we were actually top of the league table at one point.
