Merabs striking against Yan was good, the takedown attempts however were pure stalling. We desperately need a rule change to make stand up control irrelevant.

I couldn't disagree with you more on your opinion on the Merab vs Yan. It was a great performance from Merab to Petr credit he did great getting up and scrambling and wasn't petrified of the takedowns like Aldo was who just didn't strike at all. Merab did piece up Yan on the feet even if it wasn't pretty by putting lots of pressure on Petre which didn't have a chance to "take in information" and come back stronger in the final rounds. I might not be crazy about Merab fighting style but I respect him and his work. At least he doesn't have a padded record. You're reaction was funny but chill out a bit 😅
