Still got some decent backspin, even in the water, though… great 84 in his round by himself too, with at least 4-5 missed putts that should’ve holed, and a couple of doubles that should’ve been bogeys at most…
I think he sets his benchmark to low for himself. Accepted the doubles too easy really, when he could easily have shot in the 70’s, a lot more comfortably than he himself even dreams he could’ve. A good Course Management Coach and a Sports Psychologist would do him wonders. Can’t believe Liam refuses to even consider either for him the tight git!
He’s actually got a good swing, just bends that left arm too much, so isn’t getting a nice wide backswing. Also makes accuracy harder as that arm has to bend the same to make good contact, we’re if it was strainer, he’d be not only longer, but more accurate. Definitely a single figure (8-9) handicapper in there, imo.
Only 6400yd course tho’, will struggle on longer ones, but still, not bad for a guy ~70 years old. Love EBay… really grown on me. Barlow, who’s a proper character gives him some real stick, but Pete just lets his golf do the talking… and no scrappy ‘scoops-woopy’ shots too.
Don’t forget, Golf Sidekick, South African Golf YouTuber based in Thailand who’s over in the UK in summer. Gotta have a game with him. Love to see what Mr Barlow make of him and how Matt (Golf Sidekick’s real name) puts up with him, too.
His sisters pretty hot too, Teaski (Tea Time Golf). Blonde, late 20’s, maybe 30. Say they’re descendants of Lithuanian 🤴 😂
