Conte should have been given the rest of the season off, to rush someone in his health condition back borders on industrial negligence and it should have been accepted he was in no condition to manage at a crucial stage of the season and Stellini and Mason steered the club for the rest of the season. After that a decision could have been agreed on his and Stellini's future without unnecessary acrimony. If the team had got through the two cup games with the Stellini effect uninfluenced by Conte's rushed impending return and got top 4 then maybe Conte could have come back refreshed, focused and healthy for next season or maybe not but I think his rushed return was an unnecessary catastrophe for all concerned.
Jose was the best of the three that followed Poch. Poch's years were great but not sure if it can work again. Maybe it can. The main problem is that the board has no clear plan. We cannot compete against clubs with tons of (US and Arab) cash that can "buy" trophies these days. I think the club has to invest in scouting, recruitment and player development. The board needs to draw a plan and stick with it. Finally, playing attractive football is not negotiable!
Great show as always but you're too jovial. I feel disgraced to be a Spurs fan. Are you happy watching Arsenal and Chelsea win trophies and us get nothing???
I so hope that the Spurs players heave been watching this, they will know now that they will be held much more accountable in the future and that when things go wrong, we will not automatically pin the blame on the Manager or just continue moaning about the deadening hand of Levy.

Now that Tuchel is at Bayern. That leaves Poch as favorite for Real Madrid in the summer. He's wanted that job since he was Spurs boss. They're signing a load of younger players and moving on the older ones. Would be a much better fit and he'd get the backing to buy any player he wants.

John Wenham so right. The Academy is a scandal. Academy is a process and success from it a measure of consistent careful husbandman and development of talent. Spurs treats the Academy with contempt. So little pressure coming through like the lot down the road has used upcoming talent to breed Hunger and competition in the 1st team.
Only now is some talent beginning to show again from the Academy. Steinson needs to keep at it.
