  1. Mat is a great player but very hot headed the caddies for players do a fantastic job and know what is best for the players they know all the numbers they hit and what is best for the players but sometimes they think they know better then the caddies shame because some of best caddies make the players better

  2. The caddy can only give the golfer what they think is the best option for him, if the golfer ignores him or agrees with him but plays a poor shot and takes it out on the caddy the golfer is in the wrong.

  3. So this outburst is from Matt Wallace making a poor shot. Please remind me on two things 1. Who has the final call on what shot will be played.? 2. Who is actually swinging the club?

  4. A. Is he a diva?
    B. Is he a bully?
    C. Is he just a douchebag?
    D. All of the above.

  5. The Caddie is to tell distances what club to use or suggest the club ,maybe wind direction ,help line up putts if the Pro over rules, thats is far as it should go no arguments. Ithink the caddie should not argue .This Pro is the Ahole

  6. What did the caddie suggest that was so out of line? you never explained that in your video.

I believe he wanted him to take a drop but there had to be something more to it to have Wallace go off on him.

  7. I still think about the video where Eddie Pepperrell pranks Wallace, but weirdly it's Wallace who self-owns by (unprompted) bragging to the taxi driver about being ranked 36th in the world

  8. I'm not pga tour player this is childish act I feel that telling a caddie to shut up is so disrespectful to his caddie and the tournament he played in I know 100 percent that I would never do that in a special Olympics golf tournament because if I did I would be kicked out of the tournament 100 percent would be kicked out of a golf tournament he should have gotten kicked out of the tournament for that

  9. I''d say I would need to know their relations. I sometimes argue with colleagues too, eventho we are good friends on and off work.

  10. The golfer is ultimately responsible. After all he's the one swinging the club. The caddie should know the player's capabilities and help appropriately.

  11. 2 young men trying to make a lot of money together; men should be able to talk to each other openly. I don't think Matt did anything wrong. He's ultimately the Boss. I am a profession Caddie for over 25 years, sometimes laying up is NOT AN OPTION if you want to make $$$$ . It's simple, a Professional Golfer has to be able to hit shots that are VERY DEMANDING!!! As a Caddie, you have to be able to have faith in your Player's ability and decision making.

  12. Sometimes a caddy has to know when to speak up but this pro needs to get a handle on his emotions at least while he is out in view of the public. I used to caddy, keeping my mouth shut on the course was very helpful.

  13. In my opinion the caddie is an advisor not a final decision maker. The player has ultimate decision and responsibility. Take in private and don't look like a cry baby on the course.

  14. I think there needs to be an understanding between player and caddie on who makes the final decisions.
The role of the caddie during play is to give the best advice he can. If the player chooses to follow it or not is the player’s call. The result therefore is 100% on the player. If a bad shot results, either the player opted to follow bad advice (player’s fault), not take good advice (player’s fault), or the player made a bad swing (take a guess).
Now if a caddie always gives bad advice it might be time for a monday am conversation regarding employment, but other than that, the player is still the player and the player makes the final decisions and bears responsibility.

  15. Just another overpaid muppet seen quite a few like this blame everyone but themselves and never reach there full potential sad really

  16. He's being an anus. At the end of the day you are the one standing over the ball and responsible for the execution and the outcome. You're welcome to disagree with a caddie's assessment prior to hitting the shot but once you've agreed on the plan don't take it out on the caddie when you screw it up.

  17. Hard to say who's right or wrong without Knowing what was actually said during the whole incident.

  18. When Ian Woosnam found he had two drivers in the bag I was sat in the stands and could hear every word and the f word was used more than once towards his caddie 😂

  19. I agree with Mark Usher control the language. Rahm and McCilroy same thing f bombs all the time. Spoiled millionaires. Show some class a lot of young children idolize these players and will incorporate that attitude when they play. Hate seeing this in professional golf. Wouldn't mind seeing Caddies receive more of the purse as well.

  20. Got out and played in a 4 man team ( 2 to count) and shot 2 over. Unfortunately the rest of the team did not. Not even in the top ten 😂

  21. If I didn't know better I'd say it looks a lot like a mild form of roid rage. But that's impossible……?

  22. As someone who has golfed with Wallace I can say this doesn’t surprise me. The dude is so full of himself. Loves himself some Matt Wallace.

  23. No matter where the work place is , golf course, office or building site you cannot speak to colleagues in that manner and expect to get away with it. I hope the caddy gave Mr Wallace what he deserved off the course later
