  1. I believe there will be some fine details in this for the winner(s). Meaning, I'm willing to bet the winner will also become a 'Good Good' Athlete. Essentially another Pro Golfer repping the brand. There has to be a kick back for Good Good on the back end and this is really the only thing that makes sense.

  2. It looked like it was being set up to find a jr golfer they can help move up. Especially if you watched the background video.

  3. This is cool from the potential player standpoint I guess but from a viewer/entertainment standpoint I really couldn't care less to watch a bunch of aspiring pros nobody has ever heard of. I wanted to care about and watch LIV but I just can't get into it. I can't even get into most of the lower level PGA events. But good for the guy winning 50k and getting some exposure I guess 🤷‍♂️

  4. Low key am very happy and proud you have removed the 'mafia' title for us fans . Was just a bit too cringy for me 😅. Keep it going Nate. Lovin the grind

  5. We are going to do better than all of this Nate. Right here in Canada. They can shove that 100k up there butts. I was thinking a 50M purse. Go big or go home!

  6. Don’t over think it, It’s just a pro tournament they decided to make. It’s not that deep. Yes they target more of the amateur audience but Us (The amateur audience) want to see good golfers on youtube. Not amateurs like us hitting 20 over par… Only makes sense to have a tournament that will have higher quality golf. more content and competition.

  7. I am not sure why this being an event for professionals is surprising….you cannot, legally, win over $750 as an amateur without giving up that status in advance. You can win cash/prizes for special events (hole in one) during a tournament, but not for winning/placing in the actual tournament itself.

  8. I think it’s pretty obvious why this is the route they are taking. For the same reason they are sponsoring the other few aspiring pros. GG wants to be a gold brand up there with the other big ones, they’ve said this multiple times. Their YouTube and following is a way to put eyes on their brand, but the brand is what they are building. They are gonna want to see GG merch and potentially clubs in the future on tour players, what’s a good way to get a tour player to rep your stuff? Support them as an up and comer

  9. Nate, since these are usually very short videos, could you possibly put the golf news/drama vids into a playlist? I listen to these when I'm driving and it's difficult to keep exiting and finding the next one. You could probably put your golfing vids into a playlist as well. I like to catch up on the youtube golf news every few weeks or so, so it would be nice for the next one to start automatically.

  10. This is much more philanthropic than the Barstool Classic. I've always been curious why Good Good has these unknown sponsored athletes instead of trying to sign a more established player, but it's pretty cool they do it nonetheless.

  11. It’s a 100,000 dollar investment disguised as a giveaway. There will be contractual repercussions upon accepting entry and thereafter any winnings

  12. Ive said it over and over again… they're just following Googan Squad Rubric. Googan picked up Jacob Wheeler and Dustin Connell. Why I only watch LFG and Alex Peric on barstool sports now. content gets stale as they try to flood their crew with personalities.
