  1. Life-long Cincinnati Bengals fan not watching the Super Bowl in protest. This video dropping was a true blessing!

  2. If Honda wants to get any PR advantage, then should do it with their own team. With McLaren it will be all about McLaren again.

Apart from what Steven's is saying about how McLaren was probably mostly to blame, people (including a huge part of the media, which is why I dont trust reports in Honda and they so-called lack of ability to adjust to F1 culture) tend to forget that even with that truly dominant engine in 2014 McLaren didn't do so well. Another thing people forget is that Honda was supposed to enter in 2016, but McLaren asked them to come a year earlier. And whereas we see F1 completely bend the regulation for VAG, Honda just had to deal with all the restrictions.

And that first year with Renault they were terrible as well (and they had decided very early in the precious year to break with Honda, so that car was made for the Renault). That second car in 2019 was ok, but that was designed by Pat Fry who per coincidence had to lead the design team after Matt Morris left because McLaren announced James Key for 2019.

Also, what does McLaren really bring to the table? Very divided ownership with no full control over their own assets, a conflicting car brand and a questionable design team that up to now only did well with the throughdevelopment of Fry's car they raced with in 2019-2021.

Honda could be an extra entry, but also buy Williams or Aston Martin if Stroll understands that junior won't be so good and the sponsoring by Aston Martin isn't bringing what they hoped for.

  3. And the comment of the week is ……. I am still waiting for the comment of the week, I think we missed the Apex. 😉
