  1. Jay is certainly delivering a sales pitch, but the reality is that the biggest names on Tour didn't appear until last week's Arnold Palmer Invitational. There are too many events where the field is very weak. The PGA Tour needs to eliminate the cupcake events and max out at 20 events per year. The PGA Tour is not competing very well with LIV, where their guys are there for every event.

  2. You can’t say the strongest field and best world ranked players when the top 40 have left and dont get world ranking points

  3. Monahan's a chump. Reading a prepared statement only makes him look like a corporate shill, checking off all the bullet points.

As for the PGA TOUR possibly merging with the LIV Tour, they really have no choice. The PGA TOUR is a shadow of its former self, and in order to be considered THE elite tour of the world, they simply must have ALL the top players.

  4. I’m done watching this on TV. The amount of commercials has rendered the broadcast unwatchable. And I’m sick of hearing idiots yelling "get in the hole" on every shot.

  5. I was lucky enough to be a member of the TPC Sawgrass courses for almost 10 years. Jay is & will keep the PGA at the best pro golf tour on the planet. Arnie, Jack & Gary started this tour for the players. Now it is in their hands to continue to built it up as the greatest place to play competitive golf. Shalom

  6. ‘We will lean into’ where does this nonsense use of the English language come from!!! this guy is a lightweight!!!! The ‘Spin’ is never ending.

  7. Seems more like the PGAT is about to weed out the lower-ranked players. In all honesty, this will be good for the fans to see the top players for four consecutive days. On the other hand, these players will get paid significantly to play these designated events. To the lower-ranked players, sorry guys you might want to seek employment at LIV because Jay is bout to clean house. Bet ya'll didn't see this coming. How the tables have turned

  8. Freedom of speech, Freedom of religion, Freedon of abortion, Freedom of choice, Freedom of thought, Freedom of ETC,

NO Freedom to play golf anywhere other than the PGA.

  9. LIV Players : You're Welcome! Now the prize money is 4x after we moved out.
PGA Players : Where did the money come from all of sudden?
LIV Players : PGA players are dumber than Jay Monahan

  10. Most people are taught that "you only need a good job to get rich". These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists❣️

  11. Jay should have been fired ages ago.

Jay keeps changing the schedule around creating new events overseas at the expense of existing events.

Now he's ripped off the liv model and I'm just waiting for the PGA tour to implement team golf.

  12. People will be kicking themselves in few weeks if they miss the opportunity to buy and invest in Crypto as it's retracing … BE wise

  13. The PGA is living in the past, what happened in professional golf throughout the later part of the 20th century is diametrically opposed to what is happening today, potential viewers now have endless choices about how they wish to be ‘ENTERTAINED’, very few people today want to sit in front of a television and watch 1 round of golf over 5 to 8 hours x 4 days it’s completely unrealistic, with the exception of majors there is simply no appetite for watching 150 to 165 players contest an event with less than 10 top 20 ranked players, no one wants to be part of that, so boring, the legacy of raising the level of income astronomically has fundamentally ruined the historical model of the PGA tour, I am not being critical of those top 50+ players that have moved into the ‘super-rich’ category is just the reality of the modern game and other sporting codes are faced with a similar dilemma. Bottom line is, no one at the top is super hungry. The other vital ingredient is of course television viewing rights and sponsorship without this vital fundraising element there simply is no tour, so how do we find the right mix, firstly the players have to ‘ENTERTAIN’, across the board they are fundamentally boring and several appear angry, it’s incomprehensible, what a privilege it is to be able to play the great game of golf for a living, many cannot even smile, the younger ones obviously have no media training and so it goes on, so a touch of reality is if you are not ranked in the top 75 in the world rankings you will have to make a living as a club pro or enjoy striving to be a national amateur champion, television corporations and sponsors are only interested in the top 30 ranked players, 90% of viewers and spectators are only interested in top 30 to 50 ranked players, the 21st century solution is to cut the number of tournaments in half + the 4 majors and make it compulsory for the 30 highest ranked players to play 80% of tournaments throughout the year or be severely punished, the tournament structure 54 players, shot gun start, over in 5 hours, great entertainment, appropriate time management, broadcasters and sponsors will love it, viewers and spectators will be entertained and most importantly the game will grow, the downside is that 100 to 150 PGA members will not be playing on tour, sadly their is no other solution, the sport as a spectator sport has to be recalibrated for it’s very survival.

  14. I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever. I’m a single father with two kids living in Melbourne Australia, bought my second house in January and hoping to retire next year at 62 if things keep going smoothly for me

  15. The only thing they are going to show is Rory and hes gang . Why? Because the best is at home and the second best must play . The only top performer at the players will be on the side line .Joke .

  16. Every player…LIV, PGA or otherwise needs to kiss Tiger’s ring. The game would not even exist in its prominence , prestige or pay without him. The game was on life support when he came along.

  17. Wheres the Cheetah, playing top golf. Only about 20 top players, depleted the importance of this tournament.

  18. Seems that Peter Alliss years ago went asked what is wrong with golf was quite correct when he said "Way too much $$$, it's all about the money!" Then said "they pay me an obscene amount of money to just TALK about golf! " This is happening not just in golf but all sport. Seems LIV players work less and get paid very well for there services, which begs the question, why do professional golfers play ? Only to make more $$$ or is it something else?

  19. Liv could eat the pgat for breakfast and not miss a thing. may be burp. jay would be first seed to get spit out.
