Funny you mentioned the commentary, because I was thinking the same thing, on the final round any one in the top ten could have won it, 1-2 strokes between them all, where’s the excitement? Where’s the passion? If you want new people to come into the sport and watch and get revved up, you need to inject some passion into it. I was getting really excited by it all and I had to second guess myself as if it was normal to have it this tight because of the monotone commentary!
Sky has gone downhill since they have moved to these new style Young presenters who just want to talk about swing positions and play shots on a VR screen. Golf sells itself, they are going after a young market to upsell the game, but all they are doing is underselling the game itself. They haven't got a clue. No McGinley doesn't help, but he's not 'nice enough' for Sky.

Big fan of the pod lads listen every week. One small bugbear is the assumption that always seems to be made that bookies have had it off when a ‘rag’ wins.
As a golf trader for one of the biggest firms I can categorically say there were others in contention (Hatton & Hovland it may suprise and less so English) that were much better results.
Also have to consider that we take more money after a tournament starts than beforehand and Kitayama was either leading or contending all week and being offered at larger than usual odds due to the quality in behind

Had Kitayama at 50s after round 2 and stuck with him ,as tempting as cashing out, looked at times.
Really looking forward to The Players, agreed about holes maybe in the top three so main bet for me Justin Thomas here as recommended in Racing and Football Outlook with Joe C ..Jayden Schaper well backed by Steve and numerous guides so is the main selection in Kenya e/w, with Marcus Kinhult, always appreciate Sky golf coverage generally but agreed lack lustre at times…
