Here is episode two of my new miniseries “Building Your Bag” where I cover all things Midrange.
Quick recap of this episode, your midrange selection should include at the least an understable, neutral, and overstable disc. I carry four, and here is what I look for in each:
Understable
-Naturally under stable or a beat up neutral disc
-Very controllable
-Long turnover shots
Neutral to Understable
-Good for shot shaping
-Holds most any line
-EXTREMELY helpful in the woods
-Touch forehand shots
Neutral to Overstable
-Workhorse midrange
-Can handle power, and will mostly have a hyzer finish
-Forehand friendly
-Torque resistant
Overstable
-Very OS
-Good for force over flex shots
-Always fades
-Good wind fighter
Very torque resistant
Thanks everyone for coming back for episode two, and don’t miss episode three dropping soon, where I explore the fairway driver section of your bag.
