  1. Of all the golf balls I've tried, the Titleist Velocity is by far the longest straightest golf ball ever designed. But don't expect much in the way of control because there is very little, especially around the greens.

  2. Callaway SS is the longest for me, at least for irons and woods. Around the green… a little control but they are definately not a tour ball.

  3. He said Warbird.😂
e12s have gotten snakebitten quite easily. I could see giving the Velocity and SuperSofts a 12 ball trial, however I own a few dozen Soft Feels that I just haven’t gotten around to playing yet.

I do understand settling on a ball for a considerable amount of time HOWEVER have some fun testing.

Not listed is Taylor Made Distance+. There’s a reason. The Noodle Long and Soft are cheaper and more enjoyable overall to me. Distance+ are not fun to putt.

In my view those chasing Distance balls are most likely also chasing value which means you might as well just seek an enjoyable “dollar” golf ball instead of $25-$30.

I still think we owe it to ourselves to see what found Pro V1s or gifted TP5s can do for us for future reference.

Trying value vs premium is helpful, because I find the middle ground of golf balls VERY crowded to the point of confusing which means you get suckered in to buying in to whatever promo is being run.

  4. Great video on affordable golf balls, we hear so much on the high end value balls that we tend to forget that unless you are playing at a high level the game can be enjoyed with good affordable golf balls. Thank you
