Well done Keith, great punting! I’m only betting on the Phoenix this week:
Morikawa 20/1
Si Woo Kim 60/1
Power 70/1
Henley 70/1
Hadwin 110/1
Good luck everyone!
Rahm & Finau in the Phoenix and Arenus, Otaegui & Syme in Singapore, good luck everyone.
In Singapore Ive backed 10 golfers total. i need a winner for rent arrears
Question for Steve Palmer: why didn't he become a model
Steve should call Bruce "Scoffie Scheffler"
Feel Steve has come to the party a little late in tipping Rahm.
Well done Keith
X SCHAUFFELE 16/1 S IM 28/1
S Thegala 60/1 R Fowler 75/1 KH Lee 80/1 W Clark 150/1 Phoniex open
A ARNAUS 25/1 A Bjork 25/1 G Green 66/1 J Catlin 110/1 bets for Singapore open
Schauffele 12/1, Finau 16/1 and Matsuyama 25/1 ew 10 places for me in Phoenix.
Thank you for the mention chaps and the comments. Going with Steve's selections as per normal. However having an extra with Marcus Helligkilde to bring me down to earth in Singapore. Oh and get a dog Steve and call it Tiger.
GL Steve. My value bets this week in the Singapore are Marcel Siem 160 and Ross Fisher 95 on the exchanges.
Steve, after how you'd explained last week the newly found confidence of Lucas Herbert there was only one bet for me this week. 66/1 & 50/1 on 8 & 12 places in the Phoenix Open. I had him placed last week thanks to your tipping, cheers. – 200/1 for the US Masters at 6 places also that I have done on young Lucas!
Excellent as always chaps, sending my best. The missus still won’t let me have a dog as she thinks I will accidentally boot it when Nicolai Hojgaard missus another 4 foot putt! Vamos the Johnny’s this week – Rahm and Veerman 💪🏻
Dream Team are in the house. Long shots with 10 places available. Good luck one and all. Cheers
my picks this week are
Singapore Classic – Alexander Knappe E/W @ 250/1 (7 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Phoenix Open – Danny Lee E/W @ 250/1 (10 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Vic Open – Tyler Duncan E/W @ 250/1 (6 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Womens Vic Open – Amelia Harris E/W @ 300/1 (6 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Astara Golf Championship – Kristoffer Ventura E/W @ 200/1 (6 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Trophy Hassan II – Tom Lehman E/W @ 200/1 (5 places E/W with Paddy Power)
Already played Adam Hadwin and you had to pick him. Damn it boy. Last week he picked two of the four that withdrew. I'm here to fade his picks. Morikawa should win this. Good luck to all of your bets.
Main bets are in the Phoenix on Rahm also tipped by Joe Champion and Xander Schauffele whose record is so good in this tournament last couple of years, in Singapore have also seen support elsewhere for Johannes Veerman and Gavin Green so will be on them plus the well touted Rafa Cabrera Bello and Racing and Football Outlook selection Adri Arnaus, though lower stakes as wary of no course form….well done Keith too !!!
Guys does anyone know where we can find a list of all the players who've gone to a course a week early to practice? I know Steve mentioned Rahm had gone to Scottsdale a week early but is there anywhere online that publishes a full list of all the golfers that have done so?
Feels like a lottery this week in Phoenix, with so many of the top names in great form. I can make a case for all of the top ten in the betting. Went for 'Can't lay' in the end. Lost in play-off last year. Gets the job done this year.
Great show as always
I’m going a double on Foxy and Homa
Great show lads always have a chuckle
First time “commenter “ on this show , having enjoyed it for many years , following Steve’s ups and downs , of which I can relate to ! He and Bruce the best double act since Laurel & Hardy . Great show and thank you both for always brightening up my Tuesday’s! Steve makes a strong case for Rahm and I think a win saver bet would be wise for punters this week – was 9.6 on the machine yesterday , but now around a point shorter 😞. I took the 14-1 The Chef ew first 10 opening show , and pressed up 12-1 this morning . Also think Burns overpriced at 50-1. World class player and course should suit – although granted has not torn up any trees here on his previous 2 outings – but could be a bit of value . Interesting to hear Bruce’s take the other week on splitting stakes between place terms and bigger price . It’s something that I often wonder about which is the best thing to do long term . I guess the first rule of punting should be not to lose , so taking the extra places would always I thought be the best option. However , looking at the firm that are offering each way first 10, their prices are so much shorter on all golfers, that to me it does not warrant , for example , taking 33-1 Lowry 10 places , as opposed to 80-1 7 places . (47 points less for an extra 3 places ).Always interesting and I guess there is no “right” answer . Keep up the good work . PS I hear Bruce was in good form at ICE yesterday . Bear from London .
I'll go with morikawa along with Steve's tips. Question for ye, chip and run or flop and drop.
Max Homa, the chef and Keegan Bradley.
Great show as always, Anthony Quayle to contend for me!!
Going with Steve's jokey comment that Taiga Semikawa is a cross between Tiger Woods and Collin Morikawa, I'll have a speculative e-w double on Taiga and Collin this week in Singapore and Phoenix. Also thought that Bruce looked a bit distracted and ill at ease at times this week. All O.K. with you, Bruce?
great show as always guys going for a rahm and thriston the piston lawrence double
Why is the Phoenix Open suspended at the start? Weather forecast seems OK.
What a promising start, Steve, after the first round, with both Lagergren and Hadwin right up at the top of the leaderboard in Singapore and Phoenix respectively at very fancy prices. I hope you included them in your each-way doubles…
Goodluck with rahm and hadwin tonight Steve, great tipping and hopefully they can both have a strong final round.
