The name that had me wondering since the beginning was the Ironheads. I see this as a collaboration of the racial slur of zipper heads and nine iron. Just remove zipper and nine, and then add the iron to heads. I'm hoping this was not deliberate! Very childish if it was.

Their might be other meanings to the names. Here in Connecticut, USA, we have the Hartford Yard Goats for a minor league baseball team. Yard goats are actually the machines that moved train cars around the train yard. Just a thought?!
